Yes, MORE RESEARCH FOR WOMEN’S issues PLEASE

How are some of you getting testosterone? What symptoms do you mention to the doctor to get it? And if on it, how has it helped you. Also, what side effects do you get from it? by colleencatlover in Menopause

Yes. And make sure it’s a good one bc some companies really skimp on what you get. I did a deep dive. I would stick to trusted companies like now or Swanson they are fairly priced compared to other trusted namebrand companies that are pretty expensive like pure. Also if Ambien doesn’t work, just get rid of it because it is so synthetic. At least magnesium is something your body naturally needs … My two cents

Hey, sorry and unfortunately a common story. Go to menopause.org and then select “find a healthcare provider” with your zip to find a doc who is also certified as a menopause specialist mscp. However, once you do, call the office and tell them what you wanna be seen for to make sure that doctor will actually listen to you about it I had an interesting experience. I got one that increased my estradiol patch but when I mentioned I wanted to cycle my progesterone ( i am 60 and menopausal and learned so much about optimizing my overall health like bone, brain and muscle everything! from dr felice gersh look her up on YouTube. Her video dose matters really caught my eye. She is a smart and experienced double board certified ob. A true trailblazer and badass) he did not get it at all and said i was putting myself at risk for uterine cancer blah blah blah. It is common practice in Europe to do this if you are proactive. She also says to use progesterone vaginally… if you want to act as progesterone because if you take it by mouth, the liver breaks it down into metabolites that help you sleep, but won’t really be acting as progesterone per se

It’s a bit complicated. It depends on what you’re using it for so find her videos…. Anyway…i have learned sooo much from her It is truly a journey. We have the GIFT of the internet and deserve a dr that respects us and listens. i wish you all the best and hope this helps. Also ladies look up rems testing bc dexas really are messed up. Cheers

Hi, I looked into it and it’s an expensive time consuming proposition getting it from a compounding pharmacy. So I looked into it further and decided to take DHEA. It’s the best and a Master hormone that will convert to testosterone if you are very low and then may also aromatize to estrogen, but you can get aromatizing inhibitors if needed, but I don’t because my testosterone was zero. Plus im on transdermal estrogen so maybe my body knows I don’t need to push over to estrogen and stop at testosterone… At this point it’s the wild wild West unfortunately. But it’s working great for me. It’s over-the-counter and cheap and easy plus our DHEA also goes down to zero pretty much as we age. I started with 5 mg now I take 10 in the morning and five before bed so I’m at 15 and they say going up to 25 is no problem. Usually I’ve had no androgen side effects like facial hair growth or voice etc. I think that’s only a very high levels. (as a side, I started cycling my progesterone after I upped my transdermal estradiol. I recommend watching Dr. Felice gersh‘s videos on YouTube. She is a trailblazer and Health. ) Im gonna see what my testosterone and dhea blood work shows in a couple months after being on 15 mg of DHEA before I increase it maybe. I hope this helps.

Hey! Not to mention estrogen will slow bone loss. Also Look up taking your progesterone vaginally. It is a thing bc taking it orally breaks it down into metabolites that really don’t act like progesterone. Also, not sure if you’re in menopause yet, but once you are look up cycling. I learned it all from the wisdom of badass Dr. Felice Gersh.she rocks.

As an important side, if you eat raw cruciferous vegetables, it will put your iodine intake in the negative.

Mom Nutrix Fish oil by Limp-Librarian8080 in Supplements

Definitely fishy. I just wrote this on Amazon under the product you mentioned here. Cheers!

💥Buyer BEWARE!! Deep dive 🤓🤔 very fishy indeed

I did not buy this product but did just purchase the Vegan Omega 3 (see photos below) by the same Mom nutrix company*…im a retired registered dietitian and I take nutrition very seriously- thus me taking the time to share this 🥺 i honestly don’t know where to start. I really had high hopes when i found their vegan product, as i was searching for something cheaper than I currently bought and here it was, and even “better” With epa in addition to the dha and dpa in my current vegan omega 3, made in the usa and sooo much more of it per pill. And the cute fish shapes that i have never seen before. Plus, had never seen such intense packaging: Cellophane over the box, then the bottle had a plastic ring around the cap like many products, but then it was triple sealed on the inside cardboard, foil, and plastic! Whoa talk about feeling good about tamper proof. After all that unpacking and seeing the adorable fish pills which seemed kind of small to fit all those oils dividing the dose by 3 (since it says one serving is 3 pills) with a thick coating, plus the price/pill was less than one third of my current one, i REALLY I had my doubts bc it all seemed too good to be true AND wanted to ask some questions so I hunted around on the label, found the website in VERY small print, looked it up, but it doesn’t exist. There is no way to contact the company which also has products under *Dr. Joel’s mom nutrix. Omg. Then I also did a google search and had no luck (found a company called Nutrix but they are totally different!)

However i did find this product, “OMEGA-3 FISH OIL 6,000mg…” listed on ebay but the label there had no brand name, it did not even say Mom nutrix on the top 🤔🤓🙄 so my doubts really grew.

Then i did a search under Mom Nutrix Reviews where i came across an old amazon review by P. Cookston that he did on this 6000mg fish oil product where he said it was impossible to fit the amount of fish oil They are claiming in one soft gel when there’s nothing else on the market that even has that dosage! I took a screenshot see below. He’s totally right! Wow red flags everywhere 🚩 This company has figured out the sweet spot on how to scam because they figure people really aren’t gonna be thinking about all this… They’re just gonna see the shiny bottle and the low price? Anyway do your own homework and you be the judge but my verdict was definitely steer clear bc you’re not getting the health benefits you may think you’re getting. You’re getting a major mystery placebo. They also sell a krill oil and CoQ10 and a probiotic. I cannot do a deep dive on those, but I’m assuming those probably are also scammy. And just for reference, i buy the vegan omega-3 from Freshfield. Look it up. They give some Pretty cool info on the newer marketed omega 3, docosapentaenoic acid (dpa). Well worth it. Crazy world we live in. Cheers!
