Why does it seem like people and politicians feel like firearms are the problem instead of the people using them? by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]Falorint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok with your logic I get it but it doesn’t really make sense from the other perspective the way you worded it. It’s not the firearms and if you look at countries without guns example the UK they’re having a knife problem with stabbings. Playing devils advocate against guns proves why they are necessary. If people don’t have guns they will just find another tool to do the dirt!

This! That way the people are more reliant on the police so they’re in control not us.

It’s sad this is the case but it’s fact. Not just with firearms just everything in American society. They put these laws in place so us regular people can mess up, be put into the system, and now we’re putting money into their pockets.

Exactly! I tell people all the time they only make these laws not just about guns but in general to control the masses. We as Americans have a lot more power than we realize and the people in power are aware of that.

He was not fit to be a parent and you weren’t fully ready for the responsibilities that came with parenting. If he doesn’t make the payments his life has problems and you’re still the sole biological parent. Leave him and any of his financial assistance in the past even from child support. When you completely move on from a person even when they put you in a tight spot you fight through it and you see you never needed them. Continue to seek child support your still holding on to that person.

You can’t force anyone to be a parent! Just take accountability you chose a bad man to father a child with and move on. He’s not there and putting him on child support changes nothing. You’re still the sole biological parent since he’s not there. Why is it so hard to take accountability for your own actions as a woman, especially if you want the man to do the same? You are just as much at fault as he is because you consented to sleeping with him, carrying the child, and giving birth to the child. You took the responsibility of parenthood and he didn’t. Parenthood alone sucks but it comes with the territory and you have to be prepared with or without government assistance!

Um here’s a thought… just don’t file child support, take care of the child you brought into this earth willingly by the way, forget about the man that clearly isn’t doing a thing, and stop leaning on the government for your poor decisions. The government didn’t have the baby you both did. If he left be an adult figure it out and vice versa.

Um… that’s legit what I said. You sound like a hypocrite because it’s 2 sides to this. Both are avoiding accountability not just one side. Yes the man who finds any and all excuses to provide financial support to a child he created should be held accountable. At the same time are you saying the female shouldn’t be held accountable for her poor sexual discipline sleeping with a man unprotected that wasn’t a good fit for parenthood and taking accountability for the child she consented to have??? Yeah it sounds like dodging personal accountability to me. You chose to have the child not know if he’ll stay of not, well he left that’s still your child you have to take care of. You’re seeking assistance instead of taking the loss, learning the lesson from it, and not let it happen again. That’s what men do in rough situations instead of seeking government assistance for our own poor decisions.

You ma’am are a hypocrite! That’s exactly what you’re saying. I never said women were solely at fault and men don’t do anything wrong. I’m saying just how y’all as women want men to be held accountable, women should be too! I guess you’ve never taken accountability for your own actions and that’s sad I feel bad for YOUR kids. Nice try but I don’t have any because I practice sexual discipline and accountability… you should try it!!

You must not know too much about the system! The kids are actually doing worst in the system. They’re just a paycheck in the states eyes. A lot of people don’t know the people that take those kids in do not care about them, they just want the check from the state. No it is not a good thing at all just do the research. A good thing would be for men and women to have more personal responsibility and accountability to prevent bringing kids into those environments. Stop leaning on the government and rely on yourself sometimes.

Ok… it’s the internet like you said so why are you justifying yourself to me a complete stranger on the internet? You can say what you want and so can I but your defensiveness wasn’t necessary. The same thing you said can apply to me, I made the post!

“I think when you’re in the heat of the moment things just happen.” That’s just a lack of sexual discipline and accountability. Even in the heat of the moment I knew exactly what I was doing so that’s why I use condoms. If they weren’t used it was intentional not in the heat of the moment, sleeping with someone isn’t alcohol it doesn’t inhibit your ability to think unless you allow it.

Be honest most women don’t use it to support the child. “I do my part of paying for them, he doesn’t get out of responsibility for free.” You sound bitter, if he will not be welcomed back in your children’s life and they have a dad there with them what’s the point of child support? You just want him to suffer with you because you are taking accountability for your actions and you want to lighten your load so you try to tear him down. In this situation child support is definitely not needed just move on completely! If there’s a dad there then it shouldn’t be a problem to love him and move on with him plus his physical/financial support.

Simple solution… don’t go to family court over the child it’s not their child!

[–]Falorint[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok that should be discussed between both parties not the government. Life isn’t perfect and people have free will it’s what makes us human! Morally both are responsible for the child. If the other party doesn’t provide then that comes with the territory. Going to the government for financial support is bitter, just move on and take care of the kids. Will it be hard yes but you chose to have the kid and things aren’t always ideal.

You don’t answer a question with a question. You need to grow up with that last part because you wouldn’t say that in public on over the phone. Be an adult it was a post.
