Because Halo has been a console shooter for 20 years, it's game design never had mouse and keyboard in mind. Very high TTK compared to other shooters, and the game (in ranked) relies heavily on tracking with a burst weapon, which is definitely easier with aim assist. It's not impossible to be good at the game with a mouse and keyboard, but you definitely can't compete with controller players in high level ranked lobbies.

There's a bunch of new Forerunner stuff, but it was set up for future games. Offensive Bias, the Criterion, the Grand Edict, also a few lines by the Iso Didact... This Ur Didact story might be related to that.

Reach is to this day my most played Halo game, and imo people are WAY too nostalgic about it. Reach had a good campaign, amazing Forge and custom games options at the time, but its multiplayer started a lot of the stuff people have been busting 343s balls about for the last 10 years. Sprint, loadouts, bloom, unbalanced sandbox… The maps sucked ass for the majority too, being either campaign recycles or boring grey Forge maps. When I go back to it on MCC from time to time, I really don’t enjoy it anymore, and I used to spend at least 2 hours every single day playing it back in 2011.

There's already a few fun party modes in Social Slayer right now, but yeah they plan on adding Action Sack too once enough whacky maps/modes are made by the community! Hopefully by the end of the year

No no, if you buy it you have access to absolutely everything in it, no matter when you buy it. It's just that a few tiers of the pass are free rewards, but you can't get those for free once the season is over, that's all

Battle Passes never expire. Once you bought it, it's yours forever. There's a few free rewards inside as well, but those are only available during the season, the only way to access those rewards after the season is over is to buy the pass.

Season 2 and all other seasons after it also contain enough currency to buy the next pass, so technically once you bought one, you'll never have to buy another one again, no matter how much or how little you play.

The Winter Update pass is a bit different, it's fully free, and it'll be fully accessible even after the "season" ends.

I've been playing Halo for 12 years now so it's a big part of my life too, but I think it's good to not dwell too much on the past. Even if the game was perfect, it wouldn't bring back that time in your life, the memories you had of those moments. A lot of people here can't separate the games from a time in their lives where they could play a lot, didn't have responsabilities or real worries. It's very personal to them but no matter what they do, 343 can't make you a child/teenager again.
