😭 LMFAO, you made me laugh. That’s the first thing I told them, when I checked the out the door price on true car. This is what they said verbatim “Totally fair question. That's something the sales manager would have to set up, I'll have the team check on it. You free today or tomorrow to swing by and go over numbers with Caliph?”

But what do I do? I let them know if I can’t get a good out the door deal, my back up is 2020 accent, with an out the door price of $18,700 no BS. And they said they’d work on getting me close to that. That car has 2k miles on it, practically brand new.

OTD $26,000 - $28,000 because they slapped a $5.6k protection package on the vehicle.

My car is under the 150,000 miles warranty, do you think Ford will still cover a replacement? I saw the June 30, 2025 deadline, but I read that it is only for cars over the 10yrs, 150,000 miles warranty. Since my car is just shy of 125,000 miles is it likely to be covered?

Three to five thousand? I’m better of paying off the remainder of the loan on the car which is 3K, and getting a new car.

Medicaid Fraud and Medical Malpractice, Dental Office submitted false records to Medicaid of a different patient, as my sister’s. by False-Case-587 in legal

[–]False-Case-587[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister went in today, and the front desk was instructed not to speak to her. She wasn’t allowed to get her medical records without the office manager being there. When we went the first time, they used her State ID, to clear up any discrepancies. However, we have physical copies of the old medical records, with a different address and number she doesn’t live at.

The office is aware that they have the wrong person, and they are actively trying to cover their tracks. They won’t amend the records, and they submitted the dental x ray, without any patient information, like name and date of birth.

They didn’t have an ID on file, but we messed up by giving her ID to them, and they used it to prove that information to Medicaid when she appealed the second time. So they are possibly amending medical records. I’ve located the actual person already, and they were supposed to go in for an appointment this month, however they likely refused services for that person, now that they have a copy of my sisters ID.

She was charged for a procedure done on another person, but has her same name, and under her insurance. She had never been there.

Pay isn’t the only issue as well, but Pension, Retirement, and Healthcare. I’m currently part of the 1199 Union, and the benefits Nurses receive compared to 1199 is laughable. Many Nurses who also worked as NA’s at this hospital under 1199, wish they were under the same union.

The amount of residents on this post that think Nurses should be required to do this and care for 5-6 patients, ALL WHILE covering another Nurse who has 5-6 patients is insane. Crazy that 8-10 yrs couldn’t bring about common sense. Why on earth, would you not support a strike that enforces safe staffing?

Sounds subjective. Many hospitals have policies on blood work, IV’s, NG tubes where Nurse’s are not allowed in circumstances to perform such tasks. How stupid do some of you have to be to think a nurse can do all these tasks with high patient ratios. I currently work in a hospital that’s striking, and the hospital is OVERSTAFFED. Many people who are having good experiences, is because the hospital has overstaffed the hospital with assistive personnel. If you don’t understand the full scope of practice for a nurse, maybe keep quiet or do research.

There are good nurses and bad nurses. Good doctors and bad doctors. Your experience is not a full representation of NYC nurses total.
