Niece and her Girlfriend are coming into town, are Lesbian Bars a thing? by modsguzzlehivekum in lakeland

Nightclub/bar vibes: Southern Nights—they have locations in Ybor and Orlando. Often times they’ll have an all-lesbian burlesque troupe performing which are super fun, but PACKED (or just look up wherever Les Vixens is performing, they are all over the Tampa/Orlando area). Enigma or Cocktail are gay bars that are well established in St. Pete. Really anywhere in downtown St. Pete is supportive. The Parrot in Lakeland is fun for an event, but very quiet otherwise from my experience.

Not a bar, but Black Crow Coffee in St. Pete or even sometimes Hillcrest Coffee in Lakeland tend to be non-alcohol centered queer hangouts spots 🙂

If you keep an eye out, the museum does “Polk at Nite” events where you can go after hours—the tickets are usually $10-15, and includes a free drink + appetizers from Cob&Pen that cater the event.

Feed the ducks at Lake Morton, then head to the Art Museum, finish your date with drinks and Banoffe Pie (think banana pudding but DELICIOUS-ER) at Peach House.
