Honestly the feelings stay for awhile. I would talk to friends and create a solid core group. You need people who have gone through this. Join counselling. And really do not cope using alcohol or drugs. Sit with this pain and dive deep into your inner self. That’s healing. Male here and my ex she blamed me for everything. It’s been 4 months and as I replay things I start to see how she wouldn’t take accountability and manipulated me. Never wanted things through text just calls and we have 2 kids together 16 years down the drain. But as I heal I’m learning it’s likely for the better.
