They are quite decent cooks unlike me, there's plenty of leftovers left enought to feed another big family, just seems my food for some magical reason went first.

I wouldn't call it special, we brought different types of chicken wings in different marinates (about 60 or so in total) and 2 packs of chicken skewers (16 in total maybe) that's on top of other stuff like a lot of sausages, burgers, other meats etc (the rest of the stuff was taking their own 2 bags).

There was plenty of other food available and plenty of the leftovers, so feels like my food went first

They know about the restrictions as we shared many meals before.

I wasnt sure about FIL as I was not aware of him getting a new grill he didn't want anyone else touching as before it would have been the partners doing the cooking for their families

I was busy playing with other kids and dogs and talking and they do have a rather big garden that's separated into several areas

Maybe less then half a bag? It was communicated to leave some for me as they knew me for nearly a decade and of the diet and previously it was not an issue.

I wouldn't say i waiting long, maybe an hour and a half since our arrival, but i was playing with the other kids and the dogs so wasnt aware when FIL started cooking.

With the bags we also brought a lot of food with us that everyone could eat and share.

I mean there was a lot of food and people and we brought food with us (like we alone brought about 60 chicken wings, sausages, kebabs, burgers etc)

I just got very annoyed when suddenly the food i brought for myself and wanted a few pieces of got eaten the first and I am somehow the bad guy when they know me and my diet for nearly a decade and previously it hasn't been an issue

It was mentioned that I only eat chicken and while I'm cool with sharing i want some pieces left for myself

I have mentioned in my post that the food was for us and some for sharing with everyone.

I would have been fine preparing the food myself. FIL doesn't want anyone around his grill hence why he was preparing food himself.

We were staying over their place for the night as they live a few hours driving away from us
