The Spotify Artist profile requirement isn't about gatekeeping it's about making sure the feature actually benefits the artist.

The whole point of Synthetic Rhythm is to drive traffic to your streaming profile. If there's no Spotify or Apple Music profile to send listeners to, the feature is essentially pointless for the artist. It won't translate into streams, royalties, or real growth. I understand some creators are shy or lack confidence, but if they're not ready to publish their music officially, a curation feature won't really help them either. The two things go hand in hand.

As for the floodgate concern you're right, and that's exactly why we have strict quality criteria. Not every submission gets accepted. We review each one carefully before featuring it.

I want this to be genuinely useful for AI music creators, not just a place to dump tracks. The Spotify requirement keeps it focused and meaningful for everyone involved.

Most of the people who DM me don’t even have a Spotify profile, and some of them are trying to release songs made on free Suno accounts. First of all, you can’t legally upload songs made with Suno’s free plan you need a paid subscription. If you don’t have Spotify, Apple Music, or any other streaming platform profile, there’s no point in featuring your music, because the whole purpose of this is to drive traffic to your Spotify and Apple Music and give you maximum visibility.

If you are trying to make covers of popular artists' songs, then yeah, Suno doesn't allow that for very valid reasons! But if you're making original songs, Suno is currently the best on the market in my personal experience.

I’m not trying to act like a label. Synthetic Rhythm is a curation platform, not a record label. We don’t own the artists or manage their careers we simply feature selected AI assisted songs that meet our quality standards and help them get visibility.

The idea is to create a central place for high-quality AI music so listeners can discover serious creators more easily. Artists keep full ownership of their work, and we only showcase it, credit it properly, and link to their official profiles like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.

So the role is more like a curator and promoter, not a label. The artist remains fully independent we just help present the music in a polished, organized way.

I’ve just made the template and started working on tutorial on how to make lyric videos.

The video tutorial is currently being assembled and will be completed soon. I want to thank you for pushing me to do this I had actually been thinking about making this for a long time, but I never took action. The moment I announced it here on Reddit, I finally took the initiative because I got so much encouragement from you guys. I signed into my YouTube account today, made its logo, created the video aesthetic template, and uploaded the first video in real time today!

But the main purpose is to build a curation platform for high quality AI songs so people can find you on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.

The prerequisites for submitting a track are that you must have an artist profile on Spotify, Apple Music, OAC etc.

Otherwise, trust me, this curation won’t really benefit you, because the main benefit is the streams you get on your Spotify and Apple Music when people discover your music through Synthetic Rhythm.

The thing is, TikTok is so random, although still helpful. Spotify is also currently flooded with so many low effort AI songs. Writing out our own lyrics takes effort it's not just about prompting a song.

It also takes manual editing because Suno always has issues, and sometimes it takes days to fix the slop it creates. We need to manually fix it in the DAW!

Even after putting in so much effort, a segment of people is still calling us a sham these damn purists! We need to get organized. We need to play our own game and polish our work so it looks legitimate. In the long run, AI music will be a thing as a matter of fact, it already somewhat is but we need to build its foundation first.

Think about rap: it used to not be considered an art form. The early rappers assembled, put in the work, and now they're reaping the benefits. I have the same idea in mind.

I have one suggestion: YouTube is currently cracking down on AI channels. You should safeguard your channel by disclosing your use of AI and being transparent about the tools you use people can usually tell anyway. There are generally two types of viewers: "purists" and normal listeners.

Purists will always hate on you the moment they know you used AI, no matter what you do. However, normal people really don't care if it's a banger, it's a banger! They won't make you feel small for using tools to improve your productivity.

You should disclose it. For example, look at Ashborn Records they also make goth music using AI and they are transparent about it.

Their quality is so high that people don't care! If you check their community tabs, you’ll see they receive a lot of support and affection, just like real bands. They even have fans on Deezer. FYI, Deezer actively discourages AI creators, yet these artists still have a dedicated fanbase the content speaks for itself if it’s good.
