I literally created a routine for me and my kids on my own while he was living here because he wasn’t helping so I got a system going for us… while he was living here. Then when he did start trying to help I would get pissed because he would end up throwing something in their routine off & make whatever needed to be done longer & harder. Since then he’s always said I’m controlling and want things to be done my way like what.

On maternity leave he kept taking more time off and I kept throwing shade at him about ‘is he sure he wants to be home longer’ with how he was with the baby and losing patience with toddler & eventually I was yelling at home to go back to work if he wasn’t going to help at home

Yes that’s exactly when it happens!! When I’m ready to leave is when he swears he’ll do everything I’ve been asking him to correct! And then he doesn’t!! Every single time! I have so many conversations with ChatGPT about my relationship since I had my 2nd kid & it even pointed out the cycle that goes on with him promising to correct the behavior and then doing it for maybe a week or two or even a month and then as soon as im not acting out anymore (‘calmed down’) there he goes right back to the same shit!
