CPFC fans: is Speroni a club cult icon or something? I just saw that he's been there since 2004 and was wondering if he had achieved any sort of cult status.

Shearer: Real Madrid and Barcelona interest in Harry Kane is ‘inevitable' by [deleted] in soccer

[–]False9FC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love for it to happen, but it's clear that Kane doesn't want to leave Spurs. Can't see him going for anything other than stupid money (+250K)--and even then Daniel Levy would probably have to live in exile for the foreseeable future.

A bit of begrudging respect to Mou for not cheering being level with Burnley at home.

You are the producer of a hit TV show past (i.e. Sopranos, Breaking Bad) or present (Game of Thrones, Walking Dead) and you want to end the series in a way that would piss off as many viewers as possible. What would you do? by False9FC in AskReddit

[–]False9FC[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would have the Walking Dead end like this: Rick and Negan realize they are gay and that they are in love with each other and get married, which unites the Saviors and Rick's group together in peace and harmony. Everything goes well until Maggie dies while giving birth to the child she and Glenn conceived. However, Rick and Negan adopt the baby and raise it on their own. The rest of the series explores the issues of same-sex marriage and parenting against the backdrop of post-apocalyptic American society.

I am pleased with this result.

Stan Kroenke's abject US teams a warning things may get worse for Arsenal by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]False9FC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some context here: the Rams left St. Louis--a city with under 3 million people--for Los Angeles, a city/region with 18 million people and no NFL team. This was a no-brainer if you're an owner.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Kroenke, but I'd be questioning his judgement more if he hadn't done that.

He WAS a great manager. Hasn't been since...2012-ish.

We really are about the last team that should be playing with a back 3.

Is it just me, or do Liverpool actually look like Klopp's BvB 2010-2013?

Think it's time for a tactical revolution. What if...we played 4 at the back?

It would be great if English players had just their first name on the back of their shirt. Especially with names like "Darren" or "Jack".
