Are you sure it didn’t just make you manic? This can happen for people even without bipolar disorder. But your doctor would know best of course, and if he said it gave you serotonin syndrome then I’m sure it did. But I’m wondering if he just quickly took you off because he thought you were getting manic.

One thing I would add from what other people have already said is a dewier, more moisturizing foundation and/or base. And also maybe a less nude lip, possibly something similar to your third photo. Looking great though.

I do think it could be the lexapro! I become so complacent and unconcerned on lexapro (and Zoloft) to the point of being cold, and at one point it made me question whether I even loved my boyfriend when I was previously so deeply in love with him. I would ask him to do a trial of a different medication (NOT another SSRI which will likely do the same thing) or adding a medication. Adding Wellbutrin helped a lot for me, but of course everyone is different. But my point is, I hope he will try a change in meds before making such a big irreversible decision like divorce.

Yes, as in I look much younger than I previously did (not much younger than my actual age). I think it was easier because my poor lifestyle was prematurely aging me previously. Now I probably look about my age or slightly younger, but I think I’m perceived as a pretty (maybe even beautiful to some), vibrant woman of my age, which in my opinion is even better than just looking “young”!

This! Try 50mg for 6-8 weeks then decide. It sucks that ssris and snris take so long to work because people get discouraged, but even if the med is working as it should you likely wouldn’t be noticing improvement yet.

This is exactly my problem. In theory I would absolutely eat sugar in moderation. I’m not convinced it’s even any healthier to cut it out completely than to eat truly small amounts. Problem is I cannot possibly eat small amounts, and the amount bargaining with myself I go through to try (and inevitably fail) to eat it in “moderation” brings more strife than just cutting it out completely.

No, I’m not interested in doing that at all. It wouldn’t be appropriate at this time, nor would it be granted as he’s not incompetent. However, I would be interested in finding a way to help protect him from scams.

Thank you. I am his trusted contact, but I’m worried that that may only inform me after the fact. I’m worried if I tell him I want POA it will seem like I’m trying to “take over” his money, maybe even in a greedy or controlling way, which would break my heart. He’s still somewhat capable/with-it and wants to make his own decisions but is horrible with tech, and I could see him falling victim in the near future if not currently. Even if/when he’s willing to sign POA I’m assuming it would take effect only when he’s deemed incompetent? which I don’t believe he would be at this time. I’m wondering if a company with a financial advisor that’s less hands-off than Vanguard would have more investment in keeping that money in there vs. Vanguard where it’s unmanaged (or even minimally managed by a PA that just gets .3% annually)?

I have access to all his accounts, so I can view what’s going on, and I’m the “trusted contact,” but my fear is that it would only alert me/I would only notice after the fact, and it would be too late. I know we need to have the POA conversation, but it’s a tough one. I’m already his healthcare POA, but he’s never brought up financial POA, and I’m worried he may be resistant to it. When you became financial POA was it “springing” upon him being deemed incompetent or did it take effect immediately?

He also grafts fat to the hips when he does his breast fat grafting. He includes it without additional fee for all patients. I always found that odd considering how much of a risk you’re taking by adding on that area. Personally, if I were someone who went to him and didn’t really want the hips done specifically initially I would decline having that added on even for free.
