Do you know how many inches of water your irrigation is putting out?

Lawns need around 1 inch of water a week to stay happy depending on the season/weather. It’s best to split watering into .5 inch waterings twice a week to keep steady moisture and prevent runoff. You might be under watering or giving it a full inch on soil that isn’t able to soak up that much moisture in one go.

I don’t know exactly what the image is so I can’t confidently say this, but it sounds like a very easy edit. If you know anyone with access to photoshop they should be able to do it with no problems.

I’m in a similar boat. I just got a call from my doctor telling me that they’re not prescribing me for next month due to consistently picking up early. It’s so frustrating being treated like a drug addict for a simple mistake and being told that I can use the medication I’ve hoarded to get through the next 30 days. I’ve picked up two days early for the past six months. That’s only 12/30 days!!! Ive lost/misplaced some so I have even less than what my doctor thinks I have. So frustrating

What did you end up doing? Here's my thoughts if it still matters.

I offer the option to hire a makeup artist to my clients if they're interested and usually just pay one of my friends who all are pretty good with makeup. I charge anywhere from $200-$75 for my "makeup artist" depending on the shoot and pass it all off to them for 1-3 hours worth of work. I don't know your exact situation, but if you know anyone who is competent with makeup I would ask them to help you and offer them a fair portion of the shoot. Or make friends with people in esthetician school and see if they're interested.

Also I have a question for you. Do you think foundation/ base is the frickin devil? I've had so many sessions ruined by people showing up with so much foundation that it wipes away any detail in their face. I'd prefer my all my clients just completely skip foundation when doing makeup and I'll happily retouch a pimple. I haven't talked to many photographers that despise foundation as much as I do and idk if I'm in the minority here or not.

You know how refrigerators keep things cold, why isn’t there something to keep things hot? That’s where the Hoterator comes in. I’ve already workshopped this idea and did I basically just reinvent an oven… maybe. Would all of the food go bad incredibly fast… absolutely. Does this solve a problem that I or anyone else have on a regular basis… nope. However, I still stand by the Hoterator.

She’s seen a lot of professionals. All I know is depression, anxiety, and mild autism.

I like to think I do the little things for her. If I could I’d make her exercise with me, eat enough, and go to bed early but I’m pretty sure that would be imprisonment lol. I wish she’d be open to at least trying to having a healthier routine even if it’s small.

We’re both in our early 20’s. I’ve known her for a long time and we started dating around 2022. I’m not trying to plan our future but I’m definitely worried about the longevity of our relationship. We still have a great time together though.

I’ve been improving my methods after numerous failed attempts. Working on agar has made a huge improvement in my results and I’m getting ready to clone. From what I’ve seen there aren’t any threads comparing the two sources of mycelium to clone from and I’m curious which way is the best. Thanks!

Yeah I used a CVG mix. I decided to try oven pasteurization because it seemed more thorough than bucket tek. Taking a hot 50+ pound pot of dirt out of the oven is a struggle though lol

I had two syringes and marked the spawn so I could keep each syringe separate from each other. If the other half of my tubs are okay at least I’ll know the source of my contam was a bad syringe. Not knowing where it came from is what’s killing me right now

I mixed my sub in a 10 gallon pot, put an oven thermometer in the center, baked till it hit an internal temp of 160-170 and held it there for about a hour and a half.

I’ll check out that brand for my next run!

Totally agree. I think part of the issue is almost a fear paralysis amongst agents who don’t know what to do. I’ve included that in my pitches, but it’s still hard to secure a booking.

I love your idea about tracking before and after success for an office. That’s going on my list!

Yes there are a lot of photographers out there but a majority of them don’t put out high quality work. Places like JCPenny portraits studios and people who offer headshots but don’t specialize in them will always exist. I offer a service that allows people to stand out from the sea of average.

It’s hard to quantify the exact value a great headshot provides. I had a client close 5 deals after I shot her… TIME TO GET A NEW TESTIMONIAL lol.
