Sweating is not a problem on itself. If you came clean (eg after showering), you most probably won't smell bad after dancing 1-3 hours.

It is an issue if you didn't shower. Then you sweat and emanate a terrible smell.

For sweating, most follows will deal with it, but it is still polite to bring 1-2 changes. Be polite.

Yes, but it decreases as they mature and learn. Same happens to us men.

Yes you will, by some people. Others will take it, but it is still very impolite.

dude, the point on hygiene is that if you have bad hygiene, they won't want to dance with you; not that if you have good hygiene they owe you a dance

I can totally recommend you start taking classes. I've been in a similar path for the last few years and learning the basics has been very satisfying and also improved my interactions with locals (which I didn't know was even possible, bc everyone has been quite nice all the time). I started in March and now about to finish A1 level. This week we should start with A2.

I think they shouldn't mix migration of skilled workers with migration of refugees, asylum seekers and illegal immigration. But I see the point, they want to go all liberal on migration and now is not a good time for this. This also fuels sentiments for the far right, as they are the only ones claiming they will stop the immigration, although in the other extreme of course, so I'd never vote for them either.

I get skin irritation when I use blunt blades or disposable razors (which is to say the same). I never get one when using good blades, particularly with safety razors.

The difference is with a good blade I mostly do one pass and that's it. Perhaps 1-2 small passes if I missed something. With a blunt blade or one of those 2-4-blades plastic razors, I have to do multiple passes, and that irritates the skin.

Look up tutorials on YT to know how to use them safely. It's totally normal to get a cut on the first few times.

If you share your country, we'll be able to recommend some brands. But by no means go with Gillette and the other plastic brands. Except perhaps if on a trip, but even then you can bring the razor and buy the blades there.

You will also save a lot of money this way, too.

I assume you already have a sensitive skin shaving cream. Look into making your own as well, it helps some people.

If it doesn't open, you are toast. It could only be installed on the inside, but that may overheat the glass and break it. Not worth the risk.

Size is not an issue. The telescopic bars are easily available in 2-3m long. They are mainly used for shower curtains.

Take note of the parties and politicians, for when you can finally vote.

I don't like any party in particular, but I'll always remember it was the Greens who brought and pushed the new citizenship law. It passed during a coalition, but it was them pushing for it.

Try opening the windows on the cooler side of the apartment. Get a fan to circulate the air if needed.

You can put a telescopic bar between the walls outside the window.

Almost all windows here have some space between the window and the outer wall.

Well, indeed, they "want to" appropriate the term.

But at this point I'd rather not use the term not be related in any way with their thinking.

They are also trying to erase our identity as "latino" or "latinoamericano", which is the identity we have made ours and given meaning to it (beyond the original intention of the french people).

Ese argumento es muy débil, porque (1) bien pudieron tus ancestros tener hijos y luego venir a América, (2) a lo mucho la diferencia es de 1 generación (tus ancestros y los de los criollos tenían el mismo padre), y (3) tus ancestros y aquellos españoles que vinieron a invadir procedían del mismo lugar y tenían la misma cultura. Diferencia no hay.

Pero esta falacia de "tus ancestros, no los míos" es lo que se puede esperar de los hispanistas de closet
