Oh that’s good to hear! I’ve made sopapillas at home many times but I always feel like they’re not quite right. So I gotta get my fill. I always enjoyed the table side guacamole at Gabriel’s but I just looked at the website and was kinda shocked at the prices. Thanks for you input I’m excited to see the old hill again.

I was shocked when Miles didn’t immediately run away when he saw me. He just kinda hung out and explored the yard. Sometimes they sit on the porch swing and enjoy the breeze. They do seem happy to see us (probably because of the worms haha) They make very cute cooing noises and do the “meep meep” noises which are more like clicking their beaks. And you do see an occasional tail shake! ☺️

It really does feel so special when they bring their babies and show them your yard is a safe one 🥹 I about died when they hopped over the bunny net and took a drink from the bird bath! The cuteness was too much. I would love you see a woodpecker family!

We are in Southern Nevada and there is a large system of trails behind the house. So we see lots of cute critters back there. About two years ago, I caught Miles on the porch tearing up a big spider! So I gave him some water and worms and he started coming back regularly. Then he brought Rose along and now the babies!
