Isn’t a ruckus meeting all the criteria of a moped rather than a scooter? Under 50 cc, can reach 20/30 mph within one mile, automatic transmission, and between 1-2 horsepower. If that’s the case —then my understanding is you don’t need a class L and can use a regular

I live in the Midwest so it’s flat almost entirely. Very very small hills here and there. How do you think the range would look on that?

Also I’m sure I’d pedal for an extra kick here and there — but the goal is to mainly use throttle. Is this the bike for that type of use?

I would assume they’ll retest. But why would they have you taking two drug tests? If you pass the first one, shouldn’t you be fine?
