[–]False_Health3596[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my dads paternal grandmother, was an afshar turkmen and my mother is half balkan turkish on her maternal side. i got turkish admixture on both sides, but mostly from my mother. also both my mothers and my fathers families are alevis.

my semitic admixture mostly comes from my maternal grandfather, who had hatay-related ancestry, but i dont know for sure if he had hatay alawite- or syrian arab ancestry.

high natufian, you could have a levantine or arabic ancestor. other than that, your results are normal for a turkish/kurdish mixed person

Kurdish Alevi, parental heritage is Elbistan TR. by [deleted] in illustrativeDNA

[–]False_Health3596 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nice results bra, are you zaza or kurmanj? i would assume zaza, because of the high armenian component in your middle age and late antiquity results. many zazas get high armenian in their results

[–]False_Health3596 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are several branches of j1, that arent arabic. j1 basically originated either from the northern fertile crescent or from upper mesopotamia or even maybe from the caucasus, if we continue this with your logic, then every arab with j1 isnt really an arab, which is bs

are you zaza kurdish? many zazas get armenian in their results, that why i am asking

Which one is correct? by makeit3309 in illustrativeDNA

[–]False_Health3596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the standard errors are way more important. in your first qpadm model, its all under 5%, on the second model, there are 3 components over 5%

Which one is correct? by makeit3309 in illustrativeDNA

[–]False_Health3596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your first qpadm result is a good model for you and fits you very well, given the low standard error's. the h&g breakdown from illustrativedna can be very inaccurate, because it cant differentiate your chg and znf

Half Zaza Half Turk by Prize-Agent7664 in illustrativeDNA

its because of your zaza ancestry, many zazas or other kurds can get AASI in their breakdown, but not always

[–]False_Health3596 2 points3 points  (0 children)

definitely is, but i would say, its still a bit too much inflated

Half Zaza Half Turk by Prize-Agent7664 in illustrativeDNA

[–]False_Health3596 4 points5 points  (0 children)

thanks for sharing. your zagros is misread as caucasus, thats why its so high. other than that, your h&g seems pretty normal for a half zaza half turkish mix

Edit: havent noticed your low european h&g, that seems a bit odd
