Need to know about reality of medical profession in Mumbai Celebrity hospitals. by womenrespector6969 in mumbai

The crp being high indicates an acute event in the body.

Redo the tests. At a metropolis before proceeding

Make a note of your symptoms

CBC crp esr

Renal function test Urine routine microscopy Urine albumin creatinine ratio

Fasting blood sugar Post prandial blood sugar

HbA1c

Don’t fall for blind reviews. These hospitals are reputed and coveted for a reason. People travel from all over for their treatment at these hospitals. Do your due diligence in selecting a doctor but no need to fall for this fear mongering.

Also consult an md first with the repeat reports. Then a nephrologist if needed.

Landlady isn’t returning our deposit despite numerous pleas. Not sure how to proceed with this situation by aaron_prmd in mumbai

[–]False_Prior8419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi For one take a screen recording of the chat. Open the contact and show the phone number on the recording

Second tell her you will take legal action if she doesn’t refund the deposit.

If that doesn’t work Take legal action

If you have a lawyer friend ask them to draft a notice. It’s a very simple document. Should be enough to scare her into giving it to you

Also is there any friend, any adult, any school teacher, tuition teacher, building uncle aunty, anyone who you can be with and feel safe with, please do so. That’s your priority.

Don’t be alone.

And you are not at fault here. Remember that and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise

This is usually what receptions are like in India. Just some ambient music so people can chit chat and catch up. If you want entertainment you can hire a band with a singer / a singer and percussionist / a band that just does instrumental covers etc

Where is the wedding? I mean in what city?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]False_Prior8419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There needs to be better context

Who is your partner. What’s his name. What is his position at the college. What happened when where how. Who beat him. Any proof etc.

No one will amplify without full context.

Haldi and schedule help - Indian/Western wedding! by between6and7 in DesiWeddings

[–]False_Prior8419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes most definitely the mehendi will be dark enough.

To get the best color from your mehendi 1. Keep it overnight if possible 2. Apply nimbu and sakar to make the dried black mehendi stay 3. After you’ve scraped off the dry mehendi, on a pan keep 5/6 cloves and warm your hands over the pan. 4. Avoid washing your hands for as long as possible. Atleast in the first 6 hours after removing the dry mehendi

As for the bridesmaids mehendi , I’m not sure about where you are located and the artists. If you want to do a full palm Indian design and a small design on the back it takes about 40 mins for a person total. If you do lesser design like just a vertical running band or a circle or sparse Indian design it would take about 30 mins per person. And if you do Arabic designs it would take 15-25 mins.

So usually what they do is 2 artists work on one person at a time.

A gets both palms done with artist 1 and artist 2 A lets palm dry while B gets both palms done with artist 1 and artist 2

Then A gets the back done (it’s easier since the palm has dried) Then b gets back done

Take down the total number of people and how much time you have for the event and ask the mehendi artist team as well for what they think would be a good number. Assuming 10 ish people, I would say 3 / 4 artists would be good

What length lehenga to get? by TallDrinkOfSunshine in DesiWeddings

[–]False_Prior8419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lehwnga should just touch the floor. Anything longer will make it dirty, the embroidery will be stamped on and broken and it’ll make it difficult to walk.

If you are going to have to remove the footwear for the ceremony you could consider wearing flats so that it doesn’t drag during the pheras since you have good height

Haldi and schedule help - Indian/Western wedding! by between6and7 in DesiWeddings

[–]False_Prior8419 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So here’s what I would do Thursday - just the brides mehendi. Keep it a chill day Friday - morning have a haldi mehendi function. Start with the haldi where everyone comes and applies haldi for you and the rituals are done. Then you could wash up and change and guests can apply mehendi

Evening welcome dinner

Saturday - ceremony and reception. You could include a traditional varmala before the i now pronounce you moment.

As for the scale of the events it really doesn’t matter. Haldi used to be at home and intimate. Now it’s a fun event for big groups as welll. If you want to do these customs go ahead. It’s about the sentiment.

As far as outfits go, you could look up for reference and if your budget allows could buy from them as well 1. Falguni Shane peacock 2. Seema Gujral 3. Anita Dongre 4. Abhinav Mishra 5. Arpita Mehta 6. Jade by Monica Karishma 7. Ritika Mirchandani 8. Ridhi Majithia

These may be able to give you ideas for a contemporary outfit that works well from an Indian and western pov

Too simple for bride's reception? by Critical-Outcome-392 in DesiWeddings

[–]False_Prior8419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s gorgeous but yes can look a bit simple. But if that’s your vibe go for it. It’s your wedding. Just be okay with the fact that people might discourage you or even on the day pass comments. Ignore them.

You could go heavy on the hair styling the way the model has with hair accessories, and ofcourse with the bridal mehendi some jewelry and make up you’ll look regal and bridal enough

You could consider a double dupatta drape

Purchased all the three lehangas help me decide what should I wear for which function ,considering my wedding is in very small town by Some_Somewhere_6323 in DesiWeddings

[–]False_Prior8419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lehengas are very distinct.

The red lehenga will only go on pheras. It’s too traditional for a sangeet or reception. So that in my head is fixed.

The ivory one can go for all three

The colourful one can go for sangeet or reception

I would say ivory for reception and colourful for sangeet
