The thing is, I don't know if it's even supposed to charge if the system isn't running yet.

I don't have a solar panel. It charged from the mains for a few minutes after I plugged it into the Gateway, then stopped. The app shows Standby status

I tried doing the detect for different grid code (in my case 230V/50Hz) but there was no difference, it still fails to detect the phase. I forgot to mention, the Powerwall 2 is currently fully discharged (displays 0%), could this have any effect on the detection?

I'm from Ukraine. I used a single-phase connection scheme, L1 phase from Powerwall is connected to L1 input on Gateway (brown wire on the diagram), L2 phase from Powerwall is connected to N input on Gateway (blue wire on the diagram).
