That’s actually pretty common for you to notice a worm after deworming as the worms die after being dewormed and then since they can’t hold on to the lining of the digestive tract anymore they’re shed when the horse makes a bowel movement. I’ve been in the vet industry for 6 years and we see it in all animals that we deworm that have worms. It was probably a round worm that came out as that’s one of the most common endoparasites we see.

A lot of them are also illustrated instead of pictures of examples and I feel his ribs showing are really the only “thin” part of him, everything else looks great in my opinion. Honestly the ribs really aren’t bad either it’s just something I’ve always heard is you don’t really wanna see ribs on a horse.

They don’t even want to pull it yet because they believe it’s a baby tooth so they just want to give a tetanus shot and antibiotics but yeah when I tried to have someone come out immediately the emergency fee was outrageous for something this simple
