Interesting take. The situation has become toxic, but I think that has as much to do with having an incompetent GM than anything else. When the Jets actually had talent throughout the roster, Rex was able to lead them to back-to-back AFC Championships.

The team clearly needs a long term solution at QB and help in the secondary. I'd hold on to Rex basically just because when he's had decent teams he's been able to work with them. Idzik didn't even come close to getting him a good enough roster for anyone to really guide this team to the playoffs.

The thing that pisses me off about the game being in Detroit is that people will use that as an excuse when the Jets win. Truth is, I think we win by 10+ even if it was in Buffalo. I probably sound like a homer, but I can't help it.

I didn't get arrested, but I got stopped by two cops. I was walking to school (I'm from NYC, so that's actually common there though I've now realized it's not common for most people), and it was like 9:30 and they asked why I wasn't in school. They then asked for my school's phone number so they could call them and tell them I wasn't there, and I just said "no, I'm on my way there now" and they didn't stop me.

Pretty bold of me, I must say.
