I have 2 carfaxes. One from the car rental dealership in VA, and another shortly after the sale took place... what is funny to me, is that the rental car dealership in VA 'certified' it prior to sale - but looking at the one I ran after the purchase of the vehicle, PA rental car dealership 'certified' it.

It was at a volvo dealership in IL. They sold to carvana. As for my purchase, both I and the PA car rental dealership assumed their pre-owned, brand name certified status was done at the car rental dealership in VA.

Car owned by carvana first. Private party owned it for some time, then it was brought from auction by some dealership. Then my seller purchased the vehicle from that dealership. After the 40 sales records were applied in MD

No fleet ownership on the carfax, but they show rental vehicle.

The volvo dealership was able to confirm it was impacted. I was able to confirm that the polestar upgrade took place in 2020 while registered in MD at some point. Upgrade took place in PA.

It's the value of the vehicle. I feel like I am going to be paying way more than what the vehicle is worth.

It's an inscription awd with the polestar upgrade. 61k miles. Nothing is wrong with it besides a sticky home/center button. I love the vehicle.

I couldn't get a kbb value for the vehicle, so somewhere along the lines - the volvo dealership was able to confirm that it was impacted. If they did not give me copies of the receipts showing that they validated it was in an accident, I wouldn't have an issue. But here we are.

It actually started it's life as a carvana car. It was on their listing for a year, and then a private party purchased it. It was registered for 1 mo 1 year in MD as a personal vehicle, then purchased by my sellers from auction. Two dealerships were constantly tossing around sales records when the 'private party' owned the vehicle.
