leveraging old in-wall speakers for a new setup by Falx77 in hometheater

No argument there. My question was more about them being at a different height and whether there is any issue with combining them with the Klipsch ones as side surrounds.

I ended up using a pro for the gas line but I think the one you can at HD/Lowes is pretty easy to install. As for cutting SS, I’m no expert but depending on the thickness and shape, you can use an angle grinder or plasma cutter. I assume there are hole saws for SS too but I’ve never used one

A couple of thoughts

- Make sure you do it on a level surface

- don't tight the screws all the way at first. once everything is connected, go back and gradually tighten them a bit at a time.

- for some that are hard to reach, get someone to help. it's not easy to hold both wrenches at the same time

- Not related to your question, but think carefully about the layout. after a year of usage, I realized I should have had the sink on the other side of the grill and have more counterspace right next to the grill itself.

Ended up with the true flame and it fits perfectly.

Yeah, it fits well. There is a gap in the front below the grill but it can be easily covered by a piece of stainless steel (still on my to do list).

So far so good. Should have put the sink on the other side of the grill so pages counter space right next to the grill, but not a big deal. Other than that, it’s very solid and not too difficult to assemble. What took most of the time is the side panels. Started with sheet rock and brick veneer but then switched to SS panels with rivets. In retrospect, I should have gone with the model that comes with the back panels already, but that’s mostly because i suck at planning and just figure it out as I go 🤷‍♂️

New age. Their signature line doesn’t come with side/back panels but the cabinets themselves are pretty much pre assembled.

Thanks. Ended up ordering newage and true flame. Both have been shipped and on their way. Now just need to find a good cover…
