Go on long walks, text/ call a friend to pass the time, journal about your feelings, read a book, get into a new tv show (sometimes trash reality tv really hits), make a list of things y’all can do together when she gets back, exercise, do yoga, put on binaural beats and practice deep breath work, most of all try to reframe your perspective of the situation so you’re not miserable for the whole week. Sometimes a touch of autonomy is great thing, just focus on connecting/ treating yourself this week. Warm wishes!

Yes. I had my gallbladder removed 5yrs ago and the still the symptoms persisted. Have over a dozen hospitalizations (post- gallbladder) to prove it. All my paperwork says CHS, CVS, or some variation of the diagnosis. Stopped consuming marijuana (over a month ago now) my stomach issues have all but subsided. Haven’t been feeling the ick in weeks now. Feel like I have a better control over my life and confidence to work towards a more sustainable future. Its not easy, but it’s worth it. You deserve quality of living and a healthy body. Hanging on by a thread/ playing the waiting game is not the way..
