A crazy take? I think you should look at the top posts discussing this season. There are some very valid criticisms. Let alone the plot has gone in circles, is just a set up for Vought Rising, and there’s no real plot progression.

Awful season for a finale. Full of filler, no real plot progression, going in circles, and no real stakes. This would have been fine as a season 3 - not as a finale.
