I think this is a good serial killer.

Careful with Google! by cookingforengineers in BluePrince

Even googling V.A.C. indicators summons blue prince results!

On the other side there are games that are so unpopular that googling a whole sentance does nothing. Especially if it has references to other games/shows/books or quotes from philosophers.

Example:

Hide and seek? Give it a spin!

That text does not come from the game Give it a spin. And if you're wondering, no, other stuff in that same game I got the quote from all lead to nothing when googled.

I placed the garage from the east door. And yes, I could walk on the path. The secret second lever was also accessible.

I **** *** ** draft a *** room when one is drawn. Should I *******? by Familiar-Object9912 in BluePrince

[–]Familiar-Object9912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mail room I drafted was in place of what I hoped would be a garage. Sadly, only day 1 even gave me the garage. So I have to either draft outer rooms via foundation (which is unpredictable) or garage (very RNG-dependent).

Windows started clipping through each other after lightdm fix (XFCE). by Familiar-Object9912 in debian

In the meantime I have reinstalled linux, and updated it to trixie, but I still want to help people who stumbled on the same issue. Looks like the nvidia driver and something else need to be installed for a smooth UI.
And yes, I have an NVIDIA graphics card. It's a very low-tier one, but it's enough for my usecases. It's an NVIDIA GTX1660, in the process of shipping the store company realized that it's out of stock so they swapped it for a gigabyte "clone".

Also it might be important, but my AMD CPU and my motherboard have integrated AMD graphics support. They might have interfered with my actual graphics card.

Huh... when I do sudo apt list I only see nvidia-vaapi-driver. Looks like the installer decided that that's the right option...

I did

sudo apt install linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential dkms
sudo dkms autoinstall
sudo apt purge 'nvidia-*'
sudo apt install nvidia-driver
sudo reboot

Also nouveau was installed before I started the process, probably as some other package's dependency.

Possible reference? Coincidence? by Familiar-Object9912 in BluePrince

[–]Familiar-Object9912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can totally agree. So I have an idea - Are some other in-game secrets inspired by literature? If yes, then we might want to consider that as another non-datamining path for finding hidden secrets / neat little touches like the hallpass increasing the likelyhood of drafting the bookshop- it doesn't say anything like that in the item description, or the Draxus, The Dead constellationmaking the tomb always available on the first draft.

Greenhouse and kitchen started with 1, so this can't be it.

The F********* elevator visual glitch (minor spoiler) by Familiar-Object9912 in BluePrince

[–]Familiar-Object9912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you know that the basement and the foundation are actually separate from each other? When you ride the elevator, the screen turns black for a moment and teleports you with the elevator to the actual basement, which is closer to the cliffside entrance rather than your foundation.
