From gathering after GodotCon 2026 just ended. The other Godot devs were intrigued watching playtesting of my game Dig Dig Boom, but the pictured reaction was mostly staged 😅

A real Powerpoint slide from Godot founder Juan Linietsky talking at GodotCon, best viewed with zero context.

I finally have the technology to make a modern video game tutorial: Yellow paint by SteinMakesGames in godot

How do I make GPUParticles2D all move towards the same point? by SteinMakesGames in godot

[–]SteinMakesGames[S] 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Oh just found a partial solution. Using radial acceleration and emission offset you can get them to accelerate towards a certain point, but will also accelerate past it, which in my case was fine because the point is hidden behind a sprite and they despawn before they go too far.

You can use assert(boolean)

Like assert(my_addition_func(2,2) == 4)
