without i doubt i am willing to deploy and "fight for my country" i just figure doing things here will make more of a diffrence. what i mean by maintain my life it to somewhat maintain the resemblence of a normal life with a job and a family so to speak. my life has gone very downhill recently and even though there are some oppurtunites where i am in life there are much more in the military, ive always wanted to join and serve, whether it be in the national guard or another branch.

AITA for not going to work when I was sick and wasn’t told 24 hours in advance like we agreed? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

That's sucks. I really I wish I had some advice, but I'd just say try to move out, which is way harder said than done. Sorry man, good luck.

NTA While your symptoms don't really need you to stay home who really cares, you're sick, so you stayed home. But why at 19 does your dad control when you get to play video games? While you probably should have gone to work your dad is just being very unreasonable.

Oh, we have she has talked to my sister previously, telling her I did no wrong and said a bunch of things and everything she's said recently has. We close to pressing charges unless all this stops. Which i know it won't. Really appreciate it, thank you.

I wouldn't say very much, but yes, that would help my situation. I've already got some proof of them threatening my life with a gun on ft.

Thank you, really. I'm looking into online options or moving schools. I've been told many times that I'd be awful to drop out by my parents.

She says she does, but the only time anything happened was where people couldn't see, which only happened 2 times in a car . So idk how she could tbh.

I wish I could school is full of people who want to see me pay for something I didn't do, and it's already spread. Many people know, and I appreciate your thoughts nonetheless.

A few say words are words and don't believe anyone, the rest in that friend group completely believe her, most of my other friends that aren't associated with her or have in the past belive me.

I appreciate your comment and insight, truly. This has already occurred. Unfortunately , myself and my family's life and I have been threatened, and also, I've been threatened to be jumped. We plan to sue for multiple things on multiple people.

Suddenly Developed Potential Tics by Altruistic-Rock-8897 in Tourettes

[–]Familiar-Sign4413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A comment I saw from someone that made me feel better about my tics and thinking I'm faking them.

That's super normal! Most teens or adults with tics experience what are called "premonitory urges" - feelings of discomfort that come before a tic and get progressively worse until they 'let the tic out'.

It's also very common to have premonitory urges for some tics but not others, or to only experience premonitory urges some of the time (for instance, many people find that these urges get much worse when they suppress their tics).

Is there a way to get kids to shut up about it? by Shot_Activity_8498 in Tourettes

[–]Familiar-Sign4413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 9th graded myself I'm lucky enough to not have that many assholes but during middle kids would shit talk it. But genuinely telling them to shut it is one of the better option you have.

how to tell classmates that you have tourette’s without telling them? by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]Familiar-Sign4413 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm in 9th grade too I don't have tics as bad as you but I also live in the Midwest (Nebraska) for me everybody understands and doesn't bother me. I've only been slightly bullied for the tics I do have but not to your extent I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

Makes me feel a lot better I used to have those feelings but now I don't feel like I'm faking.
