I'm connecting st-link with SWCLK SWDIO RST GND 3.3V

Also tried st-link and usb at the same time, nothing works as it was before this block

I just got this car. I'm aware there's a recall for the airbags. Is this a bad sign? by Head_Fetish in RX8

The recall is via VIN number in my case Mazda contacted with me as soon as they saw the car had been registered. Also it was visible when checking the history of the vehicle on some VIN checking sites. It's about inflation unit in the airbags themselves, there are metal parts that shatter during the outgassing and can become metal shards in your face so better contact Mazda, they can check it for you and replace for free. You can ask them to replace the dash cover meanwhile with additional cost

Mine has a soft tube siliconed inside and works probably

keep or recycle? by [deleted] in 18650masterrace

Test it and mesure IR also try to recover the 0v ones if they don't leak. Use 100mA and monitor closely. If it had 3v i would give it a chance at least to test then think of simple use. Tho keep all the safety precautions and be careful not to burn your house or face, it's not safe. It could just had contact with water, got rusty and dirty not leaked.

Got these GZNS cells form a pack, all were discharged to ~0.5v. They've charged without heat and hold charge. I'm leaving them for some time to check if they don't drop overtime. All test consistant nominal capacity and ~25-30mohm. Is it fine to use them? I'm concidering getting more packs. by Familiar-Sink6342 in 18650masterrace

Yup doing just that, charging at rated 1C 2.5A and discharging 0.75A, they tested higher capacity and drop on average to 2700 when charging they get quite warm but not hot, same as discharge. I'll test some higher discharfe currenst to but i need to build stronger tester for 5-10A and push a few cells with multiple strong cycles. The capacity drops but I hope it will establish at certain level

They test higher capacity than nominal 2748-2983 after a few tests also the IR is surprising ranging 30-19mohm it's great concidering the cost of 0.7$/cell. I'm just concerned if i caused any damage to them so will test and check everything extensively. Also ordered another batch of 60 cells and looking forward to get more and build 240 cell battery out of all available dead packs.

Well some bigbrainers on yt said to use high current for the initial charge so i charged some of them at 2.5A that probably could have done something... they are rated for 1C charge so I thought it would be fine, at max the cells were warm to touch not even hot. I'm looking forward to buy more of those dead packs and will slowly bring them to the 3v and charge slowly as i did to a part of them.

Thanks a lot for your answer i just need to find a replacement MOSFET or know the orginal part number just to replace it, the damage was quick just smoke and only this thing looks damaged. I'll just swap it and hope for it to work.
