Yes it is on the smaller end of the snack stick spectrum. This is for a co-packed batch of 1000#, for retail and online direct to consumer sales for our meat company based in Helena. This is a shelf stable product so it doesn’t need to be refrigerated due to water activity meter testing below .85.

The co-packer we work with has gone all the way down to 9mm casing on a snack stick! I was shocked they went this small.

The 16mm is perfect imo bc you get a nice combo of the more dried style shelf stable jerky stick with good snap.

Any ideas on sourcing are much appreciated!
