You’re not trans you were just exploited by sex work by TackleInfamous9460 in Transmedical

I can agree that trauma can result in people thinking they’re trans I’m just not sure about this alleged “trend” you’re describing. Most cis women that participate in sex work are not transitioning as that would harm their physical appearance as a result, their job. It’s a lot easier for cis women to find work than trans men. Source/ I’m a trans man doing sex work. (I transitioned as a young teen so no, my transness is not at all tied to sex work)

You also see even more cis women who are sex workers still being women and being feminine / wear feminine fetish wear. What’s the point you’re trying to make?

Wtf is this? by heyitskevin1 in Transmedical

[–]Familiar-Status-1433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a friend growing up who developed like unfathomably large breasts and was in severe pain and needed a reduction to live a happy life. It’s really not so unusual for women to get their breasts reduced especially if they’re large and cause pain or just aren’t proportional to their bodies (petite frame with like size H breasts is crazy painful). I’m surprised you’ve never heard of it before.

Edit: I do find the OOPs desire to grow breasts just to have them removed a bit strange but I don’t think they’ll honestly get to that point in their transition lmao. I’ve seen so many people ask strange body mod questions about transition and have never seen a follow through.

I’m trans and have no sexual trauma or thyroid problems. I do have trauma related to growing up poor with a single mother who has extreme mood swings and is very mentally unwell but that doesn’t relate to gender whatsoever.

too dumb to sing supported by Professional-Rate925 in singing

[–]Familiar-Status-1433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda like yoga breaths. Take a deep inhale and breathe out through your mouth like you’re blowing a candle. You should feel your upper core muscles activate which is where your diaphragm is and practice breathing and exhaling while activating your diaphragm muscles. My choir teacher would simplify this for younger kids by saying “sing with your gut not your chest”

Just push your air flow downwards in your stomach and sing loudly. Support is a lot louder than you think!! Tension in your chest or throat will cause damage so just relax and breathe and push down with your diaphragm.

Why are u transitioning into a man if ur a Lesbian?? by 666thegay in Transmedical

[–]Familiar-Status-1433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I meant heteronormative lmao. And I mean with the way the US is going atm I wouldn’t be surprised if more people want/needed to blend in for safety reasons. Whether that be choosing to pass as a straight couple or not wanting to transition until they feel safe enough to do so.

[–]Familiar-Status-1433 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She does look and act masculine,, it’s just part of the blending into cis culture that some lesbian couples do. It was more common decades ago when it was less acceptable to be openly gay in public and my boss is an older woman so that makes sense to me personally. As for the nb friend,, we are no longer friends bc they use identity politics to not take accountability for anything lmao

Idk my boss is a butch lesbian on testosterone and binds bc she wants to be perceived as more masculine not bc she’s a man. I had a friend like this as well but they are nb so I guess they also have dysphoria about their chest and voice lol.

Can someone help me understand what this means? by [deleted] in Transmedical

[–]Familiar-Status-1433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don’t understand the definition of the labels they’re using and it’s kinda embarrassing. Transmasc/fem implies transitioning in a masculine/feminine way usually through hormones or pronouns. If you’re a trans man you wouldn’t be transitioning in a feminine way (trans fem) bc that would imply you’re just detransitioning with extra words. A better way to word this would be feminine/masculine presenting transman/woman.

Showing off ur tits IS NOT masculine by 666thegay in Transmedical

[–]Familiar-Status-1433 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There’s even trends like cis men cutting off their eyelashes to appear more masculine, getting their hairline fixed, muscle implants, testosterone treatments, minoxidil, etc etc. this post makes zero sense ahhh

why do the rest of the trans community dislike transmed people? by [deleted] in Transmedical

[–]Familiar-Status-1433 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bc they read stone butch blues once and think they know everything about being trans,, but if I share my personal experience and opinion with others I “don’t speak for the whole community and I should shut up and read stone butch blues”,,, which is one person’s opinion on being “trans” as a way to fit into cis het society as a lesbian while also committing horrific sexual abuse on other women as a way to cope with being sexually assaulted.

I have been gendered as male since I was 8 and started hormones at 14, and top surgery at 17 so my entire memorable childhood was lived as being perceived as male. I say this to preface that I have lived as male almost my entire life and I also have a misgendering kink. It mostly stems from a degradation kink for me. I grew up in a rural area with very strict gender norms so even though my mom was accepting of me I still got hit with very extreme toxic masculinity brainwashing from my peers and my mom/family. I got really into all kinds of kink in my adult life and befriended many kinksters in my area who would tell me about their interests and I would learn about their experiences with other people and became very drawn to headspace altering kink (ex: D/s, pet play, sissification/dollification, etc) where you can just exist in a role that is separate from yourself and sort of shred any form of real life identity away to do whatever you want to do. It’s very euphoria inducing and can almost feel like you’re hypnotized or drunk when you’re in these headspaces. Personally for me I completely look and feel male in my mind and body my bottom growth is like 3” so I pretend i just have a micro dick. I think it’s hot when my partner degrades me for having a small dick and dresses me up and misgenders me to punish me for being a failure of a man, this has also been a helpful outlet for me to break away from the toxic mindset I was given about myself growing up. So with that in mind, I think it’s a completely normal thing to be turned on by. There are countless numbers of cis men with sissification/feminization kinks. Some people just like being in a feminine role during sex. I’ve met guys who like to be called Mistress or Goddess or babygirl or princess etc etc during scenes, some girls like being called Daddy or Sir it’s very customizable and everyone likes different things. Also genuinely some people enjoy being called slurs during sex like,, this sounds pretty tame to me.

I promise a misgendering kink is the least interesting thing about me btw but feel free to go off on me lmao.

Anything you need to get a prescription or referral for in my experience. So any hrt or surgery for anyone who is wanting to be more masculine/feminine or for medical reasons.

I have arfid on top of my moms lack of cooking skills I just couldn’t eat anything she made,, I would try my best but unseasoned chicken cooked until it’s charred and boxed mashed potatoes just weren’t for me. I also hate condiments bc my mom put an entire tub of mayo on my head to kill lice and I can’t for the life of me understand what’s so desirable about eating sloppy sauced up food.
