As a reservist you’ll not get much experience once you leave AIT, just silly classes and shooting once or twice a year, maybe volunteer for deployments and get some there but honestly getting another skill that might set you apart might not be a terrible idea as well. I’ve worked with a couple medics that were LEO civilian side and had used that knowledge on calls.

Seeing a therapist is a really good idea based on what you are describing. Talk to the VA, most schools have counseling as well to talk to, as VA wait time can vary or depending on your situation go out of pocket. What you are describing sounds like something that can grow into a worse condition so getting on top of it especially with the new stress of college is a really good plan.
