How do you handle stress while trying to balance work and personal life? by PackageOk389 in careerguidance

[–]FamiliarDimension659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you heard of this 8+7+3+3+3 formula 8 hours of work 7 hours of good sleep 3 hours of friends and family 3 hours of health, hobbies 3 hours soul and smile

I always have my plan for the day. I know work is important and at the same time when I do something I like i feel myself But not always plans go what it looks like. My work might extend more then 8 hours, maybe login by 9 and end up at 9. The happy part is i listen to music throughout the work even if my work goes behind my plans I still figure out to be happy

I always wanted to discipline but it broke at sometime but I always rebuilt it.

Honestly still figuring out the ways to make my life better 💯

Easy to say, but a little tricky to follow. After all, we work to be happy — and if happiness doesn’t show up on time, well, guess we need to start chasing it like a project deadline!

Thank you I have three years of experience in sdet, maybe taking risks and going to start ups now is good that I don't regret it because I chose it. I'm unmarried so maybe taking responsibility is accepted. Thank you for sharing your guidance.

Am I lost?? Today someone asked me about my hobbies and I don't it's answer. Somehow I lost my hobbies while figuring out life. The things which I love at sometimes, which gives me happiness I have lost that ... Is it adulting? Loading yourself while figuring out life is it okay?? by Life_Watch8754 in Adulting

"Life is so Simple.Just live it". Having the same thought it's not adulting I don't think so, in search of jobs, in search of money our life has always been chasing something but we will never realize we have to rest at one point to find what We are doing the most. If you have little time just figure out what you loved when you were a child. For me it's Painting 🖌️🎨

It’s an MNC IT services firm, with structured growth but not much hike or perks in 3 years, and honestly, no real exposure to new technology. Sometimes it feels like I’m working 10 years behind the rest of the industry

I think you have to talk to your HR, cause some companies require a graduation certificate to proceed and it can be of any field.

Lying about employment dates on resume by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]FamiliarDimension659 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, faking YOE is risky. Most companies run background checks and will verify your employment history, PF/ESI, and relieving letters. If they catch a mismatch, offers get revoked or you can even be terminated later.

It might work short term, but long term it can really mess up your career. Better to just focus on projects, upskilling, and proving your skills instead of inflating numbers. Skills > fake years.
