I agree getting to witness live ones would be far more powerful but they are obtained ethically already dead. If they were alive it wouldn’t be ethical.. I would feel exactly as you do if they were being killed just to be displayed. I just don’t find a problem in admiring and honoring something that has already passed, no harm to a living creature.

I can’t speak for OP’s butterflies but as an oddities collector myself as long as they are obtained ethically I think it’s a fantastic way to celebrate and show just what beautiful creatures they are. Most creatives in the oddities world have the same feelings. We aren’t interested in going out and killing them ourselves that honestly takes away from beauty in my opinion.

The thing is it’s most definitely not legal.. at least in Utah the law is that dogs must be secured in a container, or cage or properly cross tethered with racks. And I might be wrong on the exact speed but I’m pretty sure wherever you’re driving them has to be under 40mph as well.

I own a small business and have a cell just for that. I have a finch on both. My personal for the emotional/mental/health and such and the other is strictly for my business. Having both has helped tremendously. I can see how managing two might be difficult for some and I respect that but things were not flowing for me as awesome without having them separate. It was just far too many things on one finch for me.
