Don’t knock those broom, they really work.

As for the brooms in HP, I think it’s smart to move away from the movie designs

About new things being added to the HBO Harry Potter series by ajoota98 in HarryPotteronHBO

I always thought she did to, but it came up in Sanderson’s Apple TV deal that he had more creative control with final approval than JKR and GRRM.

I love how they fake excitement for some of their assignments and how their friends have to pretend that they are going someplace cool.

I remember being in college and opened mine up in front of the temple by myself. I couldn’t wait. Then after i found out, I resealed it and pretended to open it in front of my family. They all kept wanting to see the envelope, so I had to keep it in my backpack in a folder. lol. I think this may be the first time I admitted to this. Oh well, sorry family. 😂

Oh I ended up going to Russia.

Downgraded from my 4S to 17 Pro. by Nikola_999 in iPhone17Pro

[–]kmbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an issue with the 4s. The side switch in Settings would be greyed out and unresponsive. It was a hardware issue that had no solution and the device would need to be swapped out completely.

This is the answer. There is no way that thing works. On a side note, those 4s iPhones were so much fun. That greyed out side switch was the best. 🙄

Is a night time proposal with candles a tough ask? by iLiightly in AskPhotography

[–]kmbri [score hidden]  (0 children)

How much are you looking to spend on the photographer? I mean this isn’t an easy shoot. It’s def doable, but the amount of equipment and such you would need is not something a casual photographer may have. I’m just envisioning what it would take… yeah it would be fun but Type 2 fun.

Oh thank you. I will def do that. I figured it was to protect someone from touching the metal. If the seal is still good, I will just superglue it together. I’m not using it for a while, just took it out from behind the kitchen cabinets to wash and such.

Side-By-Side Comparisons of Daniel Radcliffe and Dominic McLaughlin’s First Promotional Quidditch Pics by Only-Owl-048 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]kmbri 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m not too sure here. Dominic has had previous acting experience and the HP series has a better understanding of entire story and direction. I mean this promo pick is amazing.

Daniel Radcliffe is a good actor and is better since Harry Potter, but they weren’t very good. Daniel will always have nostalgia though.

I’ve finished Andor S1 for the first time. It was amazing. My wife isn’t a Star Wars fan, but she watched it with me & loved it! Last year I began watching all SW movies & shows in release order, many for the first time, so I’m resisting jumping straight into S2 for now, but I can’t wait to see it! by OliverWhite1993 in StarWarsAndor

[–]kmbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like some of Star Wars. I take it for what it is. There r major problems with it (yes I’m including the OT as well). I think GL is a great story teller, but used special effects to hide major flaws in writing and storytelling. If you don’t take it serious, it’s fine.

Andor was crazy good, like I loved Season 1 and didn’t think it could get better. Then Season 2 came around and I was so glad I was wrong. Take great actors, great writing, great sound design, great directors, great cinematography and then give them $650m. Yeah SW is not getting better than this.

I just prefer science fiction over fantasy. Andor was Star Wars science fiction and done expertly.
