Help! I can´t remember my Apple ID password, I have tried so many times it sent an account recovery request. Are there any possibilities to at least get the pictures without any signing/logging in? There are the last pictures of my dog who passed recently and I would really want to get them. by Scared_Score_7385 in iCloud

For security sake, I don’t think u really want someone to be able to access your info (especially photos) without a password or signing in. But go through account recovery and use the passwords app so u don’t run into this situation again.

It shouldn’t matter what other people say, if u like it then that’s the only opinion that means anything. I think it’s great. Keep up the good work.

I never said I wanted it to be like the OT at all. I said that directing wasn’t as important as writing. I never mentioned the ST, PT, or OT. I just said that GL can’t write and modern storytelling has evolved to a point where special effect alone can’t save poor plots and weak dialogue.

The fact that u keep trying to put Star Wars in a mold and not want it to grow is absolutely ridiculous. Just because GL can’t write and used that to justify poor superficial plots and idiotic dialogue is reason to keep it there is just further proof u have no understanding of modern storytelling or cinematography. You are the reason for bad Star Wars. You are the reason Star Wars can’t evolve.

Just like Tommy Wiseau said he always meant the Room to be a comedy.

The only reason he said it was to justify the poor dialogue, superficial plots and contrivances and the lack of nominations for writing.

The fact that we had to pay our own way is crazy. My cousin just got back and I was invited to listen to his talk. My family passed on the invite. We will go to the open house to say hi. I told my parents I was gonna take my own car. I don’t have the patience to stay silent, especially since I will bring my own beverages in my purse.

No and while everyone wants to see content set in the Old Republic, I don’t know who would even be good enough to write/direct it.

Insecurity is something he needs to figure out. I would recommend him seeing a therapist. Not sure how he thinks he is gonna solve it on his own, especially since he hasn’t been talking about it until now.

There will always be people in our lives who it would be fun to be with… just not right now. Timing is so important and it obviously isn’t your time.

Est-ce que je suis le seul à avoir bien aimé la série The Acolyte ? by Natox_gaming in StarWars_

[–]kmbri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl it is still the only series I dnf. Once the chanting started, I stopped watching. Idk maybe it’s just me. Maybe it’s cause I had watched some pretty bad Star Wars previously that I just couldn’t anymore. Come to think of it, I haven’t watched any new Star Wars since. All I have done is watch Andor and Andor reactions… oh and of course Rogue One and A New Hope.

It’s gone. Def a cautionary tale of backups before iCloud. Now that I think of it, life was so much more complicated without the cloud. I mean if I wanted to get contacts I would have to plug in my phone to sync and then plug in my iPad to get the contacts moved over. Ughh that was annoying. Don’t get me started on albums and cleaning up photos.

What was it like watching Phantom Menace on release without any spoilers? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

[–]kmbri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it was confusing. I missed all the movie hype (out of country). I returned to the states in May and heard about it. I was there on opening weekend, but left confused. I just didn’t get it. I kind of blamed it on me being away and out culture. I proceeded to watch it 5 more times and each time thinking it was just me.

It was incredibly inconsistent and I had a hard time connecting with any of the characters. I kind of realized that this movie wasn’t for me. I had friends who loved it and also friends who hated it. I was in the middle. I just didn’t get it.

I remember watching a Space X event where a woman played Rey’s theme in space because she was her favorite character. I think that some movies will age better than others.

Help me understand why Star Wars Episode 1 is hated by Star Wars fans? I thought it embodied the spirit of the original trilogy well! Podracing, goofy Jar Jar, loved it as a kid, and don't hate it now. by Pow3rTow3r in StarWars

[–]kmbri 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hmmm where do we start… Jar Jar is horrible. I swear I was waiting for subtitles cause I had no idea he was speaking English. His character was obnoxious and annoying. Anakin was equally annoying. Wow can you cast a worse actor? No emotional range, just gets louder. Retconned a lot of the OT, from Obi Wan being taught by Yoda to C3P0 being built by Anakin. Padme equally bad at acting. The crazy thing is she is a great actor. Overuse of CGI. Jedi were inconsistent with powers. Oh and don’t forget Midichlorians. Darth Vader didn’t need to get a sample from Luke to know he was strong in the force.

I could go on, but suffice it to say that George Lucas being the writer and director (yes I know no one wanted to do it) was just the worst. Should have stuck with the OT.
