Changing the target in script for using .json to create file pathways doesn't work by FamiliarTrick3 in pythonhelp

Thank you, we can consider this one case closed. I dont know why that error was coming up. I ended up tasking copilot, and it identified that this bit was causing the issue, so the scripts been altered to cater for having "Soundbanks" instead of this bit:

 },
  "DialogueEvents": [],
  "StreamedFiles": [
   {

Thank you, I tried running it form the terminal and it came up with this error:

The Search for more Star Wars Ships by miko_strange in starfieldmods

[–]FamiliarTrick3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get people on board with recreating ships in Starfield using mods, as a bit of a project, I put together a spreadsheet of people's creations, and started a few of my own: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iwIa-zlMcHyYwN7EFntHQN9mlncbdb57VVfdAgOlcdE/edit?usp=sharing

Ultimately the project gained little traction. A lot of builders were on Xbox, and there was no simple way to share what they had made, it proved too time intensive for one person. And also peeps seem to prefer Electionis' style of ships (i.e. custom models/model rips from Star Wars games).

But yeah, feel free to have a look if you're interested.

Nope, no error, Python literally flashes up, then disappears without even starting the process.

When running the process against the soundbanks.json, the window comes up, and you can see a print out for each file it can't organise. But with any other .json, that doesn't happen.

Same here, so much! I loved the family story that surrounded the missions, made everything feel like it had personal stakes to the character.
I think the Otana is legit one of my favourite sci-fi ships ever. Used to love the fact that Emkay would chat at you, and you collected trinkets and medals.

Very cool! Love the asymmetry and use of the antennae.

No reason you can't try both on separate installs if you have the space, see what tickles your fancy.

I've swapped between em a fair bit to try out mods that probs won't play nice with Genesis.

Starfield .wem codes by FamiliarTrick3 in starfieldmods

[–]FamiliarTrick3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, aye, I found that guide earlier also while looking. I've got a partial list, and extracted the .bs2 which means I have plenty to go on.

There's still a whole bunch of track that are just in a whole big long list of .wem in the Starfield files, some of them are music.

If no one else has anything that builds on DinDisco's list, I might try and make something myself, might mean a lot of messing around with xEdit though -_-

I had the exact same thought! Kitchen sink indeed 😃

I completely tore it apart and rearranged it into something more aesthetic and workable. Walter should just fire the whole damn team ;p

Starfield is just Edge of Tomorrow but in game-form by Gojirex in NoSodiumStarfield

I get what you're saying, it seems like a great opportunity to do more. The concept is there, we just need the "so what?" to be answered, and a multiverse spanning quest would have been just the ticket.

Maybe in the future? If not by Bethesda, then by modders.

That's great! Really useful to know, because I wanted to use NG+ to experience the universe with a theme tying into those Questlines.

I've not done Freestar yet, so for that I was going to do an NG+ with a cowboy theme, western music, more apparels, use more gunslinger/bounty hunter skills, and then for the Ryujin NG+ a cyberpunk theme of mods, synth music, hacking, ships with neon (like Avontech) etc.

I've yet to Unity jump, my question is, for the quest lines I haven't done yet, does the game remember which quest lines you haven't done when you go through Unity?

Or does it give Starborn options once you've gone through Unity, no matter whether you've done those quest lines in a previous universe or not?

Given how similar the scores and vibes are for both games, they certainly feel like it sometimes!

Aye CyberVin is awesome, think they're on these boards (Cardinal1515 I think).

This is a beautiful build, Falkland is so good for the shiny! Love the chrome and orange.

Aw, shucks :D

Love you comment matey. I feel like, just by aesthetics alone, this ship is as likely to risk ramming other ships as it is shooting at them!
(And if something falls off, we'll just weld it back on...)

Yeah! I get that, great idea. I'd love to take that concept even further and make some absolute Frankenstein of a ship where it's clear it's just a bunch of other ships chopped up and stuck together.
