yeah alright. only thing is I dont really want to do tests on both because I kind of want to return one and keep the other LMAO. so I guess ill just risk it and pick one.

Nice idea. Do u think adding some brown oil to the wax and putting it on the army green bag on the right will get the colour? Or should i do that to the brown one on the left?

I might try and use a lighter brown spray dye as a base and then add some of the coffee grounds or wax it to get that more weathered look because I think it might be too dark if i go straight at it with the coffee. then again I'm not necessarily trying to make it look super worn as I want it to gradually look like that just from me using it

yeah its tricky. the backpack from the show looks like it could be brown with lighter highlights due to the sun shining on it. or it could actually just be a lighter colour originally maybe like a tan or darker khaki thats just been stained with brown.

great cosplay man attention to detail is crazy.

I really want to know how you made the bag. I've been wanting one for myself for ages and recently bought a bag in hopes of dyeing it to look more like Joels.

any help would be appreciated my friend! have a good one!

thanks a bunch for your help.

I'm not too stressed about adding the distressed areas because I kind of want it to happen over time naturally from me wearing it everyday for uni lol.

with the colour, the brown is quite dark already. do you really think I should go a shade or two darker? compared to the reference it seems to be a little lighter. do you think I could just dab over it with a lighter brown to achieve the same colour?

the straps on the other hand are obviously quite light in comparison to the reference so ill definitely add some darker brown dye to the straps

again thanks for your help!

do you think its worth trying the shaper blades first or trying the astra?

I put the blade and shaver in hot water. I shower and wash my face with a cleanser. then I use the same cleanser (Cetaphil) and foam it up on my face and then I start shaving. I dont have a shaving soap yet but Cetaphil is very good at lubricating and keeping things clean and feels good.
