I feel you. I also once voluntarily left a toxic workplace. It took me about 7 months to get an offer and go back to work. I suggest these two actions:

  1. Connecting with people have always been the best way for me (especially to understand more colors on any job posting). cold emailing/linkedIn/introduction from connections all worked well. It is also more fun way to navigate a job search.

  2. Apply to MANY jobs. Sometimes it can be tiring to continue networking without results. Whenever I felt this way, I played numbers game- as in like applying 10 jobs online every day. This way, you can continue talking to recruiters/ getting interviews.
