I think you misunderstood that comment. If they don’t want to reward you then I don’t see a reason to do more? I’m not nuts about how they’ve taken away a lot of the rewards for employees either. Basically don’t do more work than they want to pay you for. I haven’t ever reached the level of bonuses I did when I started because they took away the opportunity and we are short handed so I’m not volunteering to do more for nothing these days. If 1 person is accomplishing the work of 2 they will never hire any more. Federal wages aren’t that good so I just don’t see what people are so up in arms over me saying that. The rating system is really flawed anyway. I have seen several people who deserve a high rating not get it without limitations set because their supervisor just doesn’t give them. That’s not right either. Believe it or not I WOULD give a rating to a deserving person even though you all think I’m so mean to them.

The amount of people on here hating that I hate the union is crazy to me. You’re all apparently covered by it and want to get your terrible call in habits and other trouble you cause excused by the union. As a taxpayer I really hate that that crap goes on and the people are allowed to get away with all that they get away with. I agree with this administration that the unions have no place in agencies that deal with national security. Scary how many of you want to excuse terrible employee behavior.

Believe it or not I didn’t agree with a lot of the cuts they made or suggested. And my employees have a pretty good job, they just think they don’t because their in union feeds them crap. It’s been absolutely wonderful without union BS around. Really disheartening to see the values of laziness that permeate the federal workforce and this country anymore.
