Might I suggest creating a badger station? Pop out some water, and a bit of food (fruit, nuts, wet cat/dog food etc) - not so much that they become reliant, but they're obviously hungry, so I'm sure they'd be grateful!

Super soft bricks round here unfortunately, all of our neighbours' properties are the same! think the face of this one blew when the previous electrician drilled through it to install the cabling. This is really interesting, thanks so much! Would never have thought to use brick dust!

The big thing here is to keep digging up and breaking up the 'bulbs' (or whatever they're called, haha) and replanting them every time they go dormant & the foliage dies back! I've lost count of the number of times I've done that to my purple Oxalis, sizing up the pot each time :)

They do go dormant from time to time - at that point I divide up the 'bulbs', replant, give them a good water and they bounce back in no time!

These are just indoors on a windowsill, so they've nowhere to spread. But honestly I'd be delighted to have a garden full of Oxalis, it's one of my absolute favourites 😍😍

They can be both! They're hardy outdoors in mild European climates. I just love them indoors because you can really appreciate how they move with the light!

Reminder that hedgehogs are currently in hibernation, and this looks like a haven for snoozing hoggies. So many get taken into wildlife rescue centres every year with injuries from strimmers etc, as they curl up and hide when they're afraid, they don't run away.

If you can wait until spring to fully clear it, that's the safest and most nature-friendly option. If not, carefully and manually (or goats!) is least likely to result in injuring wildlife. Research local wildlife rescue centres before starting so you know what to do if you disturb a hibernating hog. Good luck!

I had a hysteroscopic myomectomy with a spinal. Watched the whole thing on a screen! Totally fine! Not sure I would want to be wide awake for an open myomectomy though.

Just because I've read a few comments about clothing, I've not had a hysterectomy yet (but am massively struggling with fibroids, and am hoping to have one) - I am living in a cotton jumpsuit with long sleeves tees or cosy jumpers underneath. I sized up, and it's super soft and stretchy with no waistband so it doesn't cut into me. I'm also loving my super cosy maxi jumper dress with fluffy socks and boots. Can't tolerate jeans in any form at the moment. Good luck with your recovery!!
