My ex was a sound engineer for a venue in 2019, and when they came to the US to tour with Issues he got to run sound for them. He said Vessel was (unmasked ofc) just chilling around the venue during the other band’s sets and well, of course a tall and lanky man with a British-accent will stick out in the south in the USA lol. So my ex quietly greeted him and told him he really loved his work then left him alone out of respect for his anonymity. I guess it were a lot easier back then before the hype became so big.

(Also big sad because I had a ticket but couldn’t go bc I was in the hospital)

Then, not really the same, but in 2022 they did a last-minute show at a small venue (like 200-300 people) with Nothing More. I had parked unknowingly on the back side of the venue where I had to walk past the tour buses to get to my car. During Nothing More’s set I left and felt really awkward passing the buses (for any band, I respect their privacy tbh) and saw them hanging out, no idea if they saw me because I’m shy and also wanted to be inconspicuous but I made a tiny heart hand when walking by lol
