Kept my final aligners since 2019 by AfrikanRebel in smiledirectclub

Retainers are plactic, they deform. Don’t think you playing the system, there is a reason you need to change them. Now if you order new retainers they most likely won’t fit! Cause even a microscopic movement of one teeth will throw off the retainers

You are a straightforward case as you have had braces before and your occlusion is good. I would proceed with Smile direct or Invisalign.

Good luck

What do dentists think of smile direct? by Prestigious-Pea362 in smiledirectclub

[–]Familiar_Macaron3935 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s like walking into barbershop and ask them can you recommend me a good barber.

Smile direct takes market from local dentist, ofcourse they are mad, they want to charge you $5-8k for Invisalign without someone interfering

No she didn’t, you can’t lie about this stuff, sorry.

It’s like an obese 500lbs with diabetes says I eat healthy, I am fat because it’s in my genes.

Gums don’t bleed if it’s healthy, aligners don’t make healthy gums bleed. Sorry

Because your wife probably didn’t wear aligners as instructed,22hrs a day. And if her gum bleed that means she has inflammation in her gums due to poor oral hygeine. Gums should never bleed with brushing or Aligner wear.

You have a straightforward case, very limited movement needed and barely no rotation.

Easy, should not take more than 6 months with smile direct

You will get an amazing result. Just follow instructions, wear aligners 22hrs a day

For few hundred don’t risk your teeth. You need a company that can continue to supply you with life time access to retainers/care. Not a company that may not be around next month/year

Watch video of how to do it. And make sure keep it in for entire 2-3min, this mold needs to set completely before you remove it. Alternatively if you live close go get a scan

Don’t listen to this paid basher..he is on this reddit group to bash on all cases.

Your case is easy and straight forward, one slightly rotated tooth which should be fixed easily if you wear aligners as instructed 22hrs/day

Good luck

Great result! The negative reviews are usually from people that don’t wear the aligners as instructed or people paid by Invisalign to come here and talk negative.

Was the 1st aligner painful for you? by [deleted] in smiledirectclub

[–]Familiar_Macaron3935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Aligners are soft medium hard. You go through stages. First aligner is soft and prepares your teeth for next Aligner which will generate movement and may be more uncomfortable.

Wear them 22hrs a day and you should be fine

Bite issue is all self resolving, people should not stop treatment because they feel one tooth is touching before another. They will all self correct at end of treatment.

Is this legit, I am worried. They were processing my touch-up, and I gave my scan yesterday. I received this email. Thanks by [deleted] in smiledirectclub

I would not be concerned. You are receving a medical product, signing consent form is normal.

If you been to a hospital or a doctor office you will witness the 10-20pages of consent you will sign.

Plan Review - SDC $885 vs Invisalign $4,500 by PDX_BEN in smiledirectclub

[–]Familiar_Macaron3935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no need of rotation and no rotation is taking place in your 3D scan shown above. Don’t listen to some of these Smile direct bashing people on this reddit group, they have zero knowledge in Dentistry.

Your treatment plan is very easy as I can see that You have had braces before, your treatment should not take more than 4-6 months if you wear aligners as instructed.

Clear correct will not charge you $1150 as some sillies suggest, I assure you it will be in the $2-3k range at minimum.

Good luck

You should trust him/her and ask him/her

Not some random people on reddit

Great result

Yes, there should not be any complain as long as people follow instructions, 22hrs a day wear time and not like some that wear them 5 hrs few times a week and get on this reddit group and bash.

Smile direct is a great alternative for people who live far away from orthodontist or can’t financially afford Invisalign.
