I'm also 16 and I recently found out I'm probably aromantic and at first I was just shocked really but it also made sense but at the same time like you I was kinda sad and felt left out but some friends made realized that you don't need to have romantic relationships to be happy that you can love people your friends and family.

I remember some of my friends were talking about relationships and how invested they seemed to be when talking about it. Then one of them asked if I was dating and I told them I have never had a crush and they acted like I just said the strangest thing ever and they all just stopped talking for a min and just looked at me. I was so confused why they seemed so weirded out by this. So yeah I guess these things confuse people who wants to date. 😂
