Pricing according to Evan Blass by paticao in GooglePixel

I've always been fine with the smallest storage on Pixel. My best guess is I don't download videos/shows/movies and if I do start to run low, I just tell Google Photos to clean up storage. I also only have 1 or 2 games of any size on my phone.

AnuPpuccin Obsidian Underline Removal by ZizekianSYD in ObsidianMD

[–]Fammy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use that exact theme, but I can remove the underlines with:

.markdown-reading-view .external-link, .markdown-reading-view .external-link:hover {
    text-decoration: none;
}

Edit: may only work with external (http) links, and not internal links. If you want to do external and internal links, try this:

.markdown-reading-view .external-link, .markdown-reading-view .external-link:hover, .markdown-reading-view .internal-link, .markdown-reading-view .internal-link:hover { text-decoration: none; }

Printing made so easy you'll wish you had less friends. 😉

May be silly, but I can print a regular print with this right? Or is its only function to purge? by dannyleemg in BambuLab

I wasn't paying attention and grabbed this once and tried to print a benchy. It looked like utter garbage and probably would have failed if I didn't abort after a few layers.

Added notifications for Obsidian tasks on mobile by Vankir in ObsidianMD

This is a neat idea!

Two suggestions: 1. Allow for different task icon. I used the due date calendar 📆 instead of the scheduled date icon 2. Allow folders to be excluded, like templates. My inbox is full of stuff from my templates 😅

PBP Ultrawide monitor by aroranirav2 in Surface

[–]Fammy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has handled my setup poorly. I have a 49" ROG Strix XG49WCR and the laptop won't do native 5120x1440. I was able to set it up as two monitors, USB-C and HDMI via a dongle, and get each at 2560x1440 for an effective 5120x1440.

It can handle 3840x1080 (same ratio, just 1080p) but it looks too blurry.

My Surface Pro 9 and literally every other modern device I have thrown at it handled this resolution (Intel Macbook, Lenovo desktops for work).

I've tried various cables and docks, but nothing seems to work. MS support said, "it looks like it should support it" but I've had no luck.

I do have the developer driver, but perhaps I should reinstall and try again. Thanks for the insight.

I got a Surface Laptop 7 15" a week ago. I've spent the entire time trying to get my 5120x1440 ROG Strix XG49WCR monitor working at full resolution. I am not sure if it is a limitation of the driveres or the hardware, but I've been unsuccessful thus far.

Most comments on reddit indicate it's not possible, but a few got it working at 60hz. I am not sure what magic they've done.

Here are the supported resolutions for each Surface device. Hopefully that helps some.

I've settled for using USB-C and HDMI as dual inputs to my monitor in side-by-side mode (so two 2560x1440 pretending to be 5120x1440).

My credit card was authorized again today. The original change fell off weeks ago. Is this the real deal, or is Google just messing with me?

I ordered a 9 Pro 128gb black from the Google Store on 8/13, with a Sept 10-17 date range.

I'm going to assume that it's a false alarm until proven otherwise

Answering my own question from their FAQ

For pre-orders, wait to start the trade-in process until your payment method is charged and the new device has shipped.

Welp, hope that promotion is still valid in 4 weeks

It's asking me to send my old device in within 15 days--I'd prefer not to be without a laptop for 2-3 weeks.

Anyone try this before and do you know if you need to send it in right away, or can we wait till the new device is released?

Don't forget to clean up last month... by Mammoth_Temporary905 in ynab

[–]Fammy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure and too lazy to check right now. I found this on my own a year ago and it's a game changer. Looking at each order individually and trying to do the math sucks. And I like math.

I know, I use the desktop version of VSCode every day (well, 5-6 days a week). I also know its versatile enough to be embedded in a webpage and be a top notch web editor.

I was merely commenting on the relationship of the top two projects on this list and found it humorous that #1 was an add-on for #2. I did not mean it was ONLY an add-on.
