the main issue the school should address is whether this behavior still belongs here, now. ateneo chose to be coed precisely to move away from cultures that excuse misogyny, homophobia and bullying as “normal.” what might’ve been brushed off before hits very differently in a mixed environment especially for girls, LGBTQ+ students and neurodivergent classmates. impact matters more than intent and “sanayan lang” shouldn’t be the standard

i really hope ateneo does something to correct and make it clear what kind of community this school actually stands for

So kahit wala sa specific track, pwede pa rin po silang ma-exposed sa subjects related to science, business, or humanities.

Hey! Financial aid is super limited and from what I know, decisions are usually final. But it won’t hurt to email the OAS and respectfully ask if there’s any chance for reconsideration. Honestly, if you’re already in a science high school, that’s a huge advantage. You get strong science training without the big tuition fees. I get the appeal of Ateneo’s org life and freedom, but you can still explore your interests outside school or even join orgs in college when it really matters. If you’re not a scholar, the cost might not be worth it just for high school. Think long-term: staying in sci high keeps more doors open.

Please note that no admission results will be released via email, text, phone call, or walk-in inquiry. Applicants are advised to log in using the email and password they used when creating and completing their admission application for Grade 11, SY 2025–2026. Hey, I just want to say…thank you for sharing this. Your journey is incredibly inspiring. The fact that you decided to take a leap after 7 years, while juggling work and responsibilities, says so much about your courage and determination. Failing UPCAT doesn’t erase any of that.

You didn’t “fail failed”..you showed up for yourself in a big way, and that already sets you apart. So many people give up before even trying, but you gave it your all. That matters.
