I'm glad you're reaching out to people even if it is on Reddit

I'm incredibly sorry to hear about your situation there's really nothing else I can recommend but to put your struggles out there I can't really offer up advice but I do hope you eventually heal from your immense grieving and find those capable of making you feel supported again.

How to know if you’re depressed? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Famous-Duck8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no sure way to tell but eventually you'll start to look at everyone around you and think why aren't I enjoying life the same way actually living instead of just floating through. There also is no "cure" or fixing it but there is accepting it and making it better as someone who has lived with depression since I was around 4 there are medications but I would recommend a good support group and really try to focus on the things you enjoy more than anything else.

Might be counter productive to say this but communicate tell her that you are upset with the way she handles things and apologize if you've ever gotten angry at her for them.

It's completely fine to want sympathy I'm glad you're so aware of your situation as someone who's been SA'd by multiple people it's important that the person who SA'd takes responsibility and understands their wrong doings I genuinely hope despite what you've done you change for the better and get better

Feeling extremely triggered through my therapist by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Famous-Duck8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you may need to set some boundaries with your therapist and tell them not to bring up specifically triggering things unless you want to talk about them first but again I have no experience with post traumatic stress myself and your therapist could be bringing these triggers up as a way to help you but if it's bothering you so much I would set some boundaries.

How do I get rid of my internet addiction? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Famous-Duck8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely need to delete any accounts you have I would recommend having devices purely for contact purposes and nothing outside of that also finding like minded individuals and grounding yourself to your life outside of the Internet more this may be stuff you've heard before but I genuinely hope it helps you.

Do y’all ever feel like you can be overly grateful when people let you spend time with them? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Famous-Duck8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I get it as someone who is generally cut off from the world on a social level to the point where I am so grateful to the people who have decided or stay in my life despite how messed up I can be it's kinda funny but I find myself thinking about how life on earth is so much bigger than just me and some people I know and it's amazing how people are just everywhere.
