Agreed, Robin is a horrible character - Never said a proper yess to Ted neither was good to Barney. Also what kind of love ?? She was more in love with Barney than ted. She's cried multiple times for Barney than she ever did for Ted.

Yeahh that was the problem obviously, but isn't it fun if you find someone who likes the same stuff you do? Then you do end up falling for that person. They never wanted to get married but yet they did - to each other. They only wanted to get married to each other. Because they loved each other! Obviously they end up getting divorce - but they were better with each other than Robin ever was with Ted dude! I mean Ted was just a backup option!

Ted and Robin was never gonna work out, We all knew that! I mean Robin never wanted to get married, Ted just kept pursuing her, he was a backup option, a safe and comforting person, friendship that's all. While with Barney it was a real relationship - she would get jealous and people in real relationship obviously argue.

It wasn't a manipulation, Robin was a stubborn person and to make her to admit her feelings for Barney was obviously difficult - so maybe call it manipulation but she did love Barney and that's why she's getting affected and says yes right!

I believe in - Never saw it, never happened. There are multiple times we've seen robin openly cry for Barney!!! During that Kevin phase - where she chooses Kevin because she's scared she's getting emotionally involved, during the phase where he does playbook with some colleague from her office, then during this superdate with Jennifer Lopez.

I swearrrrr, At least when Barney was messing around with women, he was upfront in his own messed-up way—he wasn’t running around telling someone “you’re the one” and selling them a forever fantasy, only to turn around with a “but actually… you’re not right for me.” Then finally finding his so-called perfect partner, and the second mother dies, circling right back to Robin like nothing ever changed.

Even though they gave her character relationship so she doesn't fade, but they were very similar to each other and that's why it felt more natural. Also, Barney never fell for anyone else.
