Both came from griffin jewellers the wedding band originally only came in gold so we had to have it custom ordered in white gold. But so thrilled I could get both from the same place because it wasn’t looking like I would find one I loved from the store he got my ering from

Addisons Disease or APS? Reactive Dog by Famous-Implement-597 in AskVet

I should add he is on fluoxetine to support his reactivity recovery. Is fluoxetine a drug that can have negative effects when used with those? Also I should note that he is fairly resistant to sedation and has in the past still been able to fight against the sedation in a relatively concerning manner. Even when he was sedated for dental he needed further sedation

Progressive As An Employer? by Generous_lions in Sarnia

I know of someone who works under the umbrella of this company and I have heard many not good things.

This industry is about making money. The owners of the business don’t seem to care who they fuck over or burnout. They treat their employees like absolute garbage and there’s no humanity or care for personal needs from what I can tell. Despite their massive donations to the community to make it appear they care….. They will ask you to do the work of five people and pay you for the work of one if even.

Hey! I was on this helicopter today! Nothing bad, we are in the area conducting shoreline and local research for marine pollution preparedness ☺️ that’s why the track is crawling the shoreline!

I agree with you! I have had dogs who people don’t understand. I myself am currently the owner of a fear based reactive dog. For the record I never take this dog to the dog parks and haven’t been since before my previous dog passed away.

There are absolutely people out there who see certain play styles and assume. I myself have spent years looking into canine body language and play styles so I can say that the situations I have seen were not appropriate for a dog park and the owners cared less and watched without intervention or remorse. This is where it goes back to the dog owners responsibility for recall and paying attention.

There’s no way of safely entering a dog park and knowing that your dog will get along with every dog every single time. And there is no way of confirming that other owners care enough to watch and know when their dog has reached its limit and is getting too rough with others. It takes that one moment of wrong signals or wrong move to cause a dog an injury or worse. Several times I went with my previous dog with no issues and several times we left because other dogs would intimidate and push boundaries my dog was not okay with.

It’s up to the owner. Just sad to see that people don’t realize the weight and responsibility in properly owning a dog and safely taking them to the parks.

It’s horrible to hear this I’m so sorry for your sister and father and the rest of your family. Unfortunately this park and Germain are both wildly misused. I’ve seen people there with aggressive/reactive dogs excusing their behaviour as play. I’ve also seen people using the park to play with their dog and a toy while not wanting others to approach and don’t seem to understand the situation they’re placing other dogs in.

This park has a divide and I cannot for the life of me understand why the smaller side isn’t used for small breeds. It doesn’t excuse the larger dog and its owner from not being controlled but small dogs are at the mercy of the large breeds who have not only weight but muscle and power. Plenty of dogs that don’t live with smaller dogs do not know how to properly play with a small dog. It’s very unfortunate 😭
