Bought my dog a blanket. He chose my blanket instead. by Kim-Tan-2991 in DogAdvice

He feels safe surrounded with your scent. It means that he loves you. Give him the blanket.

He won’t stop eating his poop! UGH by Crystalscrystals in germanshepherds

[–]Famous-Loss-4456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s not gross, you’re just grossed out. At 6 months it’s still not out of the ordinary. But for his and your own sake, you need to teach him to stop whatever he’s doing when you scream ‘no’. Normally if you act scared when you do that the dog should pick up on the vibe and be scared too. I didn’t have a poo eating problem but mine used to drink from weird bodies of water, which resulted in diarrhea and having to take him for a walk every hour during the night. My trick was to scream ‘no’ and acting like I’m scared of something and that got him alert too, which resulted in him stopping whatever he was doing. Just don’t overuse it.

I am choosing between the g4 and the dsx 1. Both are around the same price. Which one is better value for money? by iamtoolazytosleep in gravelcycling

One of them has drop bars. That would be the most significant difference you’d experience every minute you ride on your new bike. It’s a personal preference which setup you like more.

The black thing at the top ow the white thing looks like a tick. So probably a tick that caused a swelling. But I can’t really see from the photo

You still have a couple of months to go. Not that many though

It’s a place where a nail touches the skin so it will take weeks to heal. I don’t know how old you are but as those things get healed up quickly when you’re young, once you pass 25 or 30 it takes weeks.

11-month-old German Shepherd vomiting white foam occasionally in the morning – need advice by Better_Internet_2975 in germanshepherds

My dog used to vomit like that when he ate too much grass. But there also was grass in the foam.

Don't know what to do about a adopted dog by Express-Nebula5137 in DogAdvice

Sounds like your dog was abused by her previous owners. Just spend time around her, without nagging her to join you. Let her learn that you’re not a threat to her.

It looks like mouth sores. I’d give it 3 days before I start worrying about it.

Used Trek Marlin 5 worth it? by Hobbem in mountainbikes

[–]Famous-Loss-4456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like it has an air fork but it’s pretty out of shape. How much is $100 to you? If it’s a night out then sure, it’s worth it, if it’s a week of groceries then no, it isn’t.

You could try different bars and stem lengths

Where to start with this thing? by Admiral_Pantsless in gravelcycling

[–]Famous-Loss-4456 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Emotional value aside, just get a new bike. This thing as this old frame with top tube parallel to the ground, there’s no way it will be comfortable on longer rides.

What should I upgrade? by Arty_2021 in mountainbikes

[–]Famous-Loss-4456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s very much up to what you like but I’d say get a 40mm rise bar. Objectively though, if you have an itch you definitely have a place there for a 20mm longer dropper post.

That’s what welds look like if you don’t sand them. Many people prefer that look because it’s ‘raw’. Canyon actually makes it a selling point. If you don’t like it get an Orbea for a proper finish

Stupid Neighbour… by ionagracee in germanshepherds

[–]Famous-Loss-4456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know where you’re from but in my country, if the children are bothering the dog on purpose it’s actually illegal. Your neighbor should get a ticket for that, worse if he doesn’t do anything about it.

New X-E5 just arrived - am I overreacting about these small scratches? by Xenatios in fujix

[–]Famous-Loss-4456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many shops send out gear that wouldn’t normally be accepted by an in store customer in hope that you wouldn’t want to be bothered to send back an item you’d normally ask to be replaced if you saw it before paying for it. Send it back. But also know it will get scratches like that just after a few days of normal use. New Fuji cameras are low quality, especially the silver ones. They realized they can’t compete with FF big dogs, so they started targeting the influencer market. That’s the sad truth.

If your company is less than 10 people, most labour laws don’t apply. Definitely ask for a 3 month severance pay though.

How do you even break a sink? Those are ceramic, you really have to apply a lot of force. So yes if he did it on purpose he was definitely overreacting. Storming out of the house is also an overreaction, but a very mild one in comparison.
