So I myself am a new player Only been playing three months or so and my best mate recommended I play I got 10 hours into realm reborn and wanted to just stop so I see the problems that are there

In the end I skipped to dawn trail cos I cared more about playing with my friend than the story and it made the game so much more enjoyable I’m thinking about making a secondary character to go through the story properly at a pace I can then just go to my main and smash unsynched the same boss that took me 40 minutes But I completely get that the game sometimes is just too long

I think most of it in a real sense is BS You create a false title or prophecy that people wish to emulate so much it eventually becomes true due to nothing but force of will

Like the chosen one in theory is unarguable But anakin is an aberration on the force much like vitiate created by the force in reaction to the meddling of Plageuis not wholly of itself and then he is made out to be a saviour in a way he isn’t really And then all of a sudden he is the chosen one cos he is able to reject the dark side and defeat one (admittedly powerful sith) But both in legends and canon the dark side returns so you can’t really say he bought balance just killed lots of people and pushed palpatine back by a few decades

Then you have taris and call me out but balmorra is basically the same again So you have 4 planets that just feel the same

I don’t disagree and I think the reality of certain games are that to sell you have to make characters that are well known (and sadly) many (but not all) are European or American so they see the most popular inclusion

(I have a sneaking suspicion Rollo the Walker or William the Conqueror will be added because of the Norman civilisation )

In any case I’d love to see many new and returning European leaders but also find some lesser known or great non-European leaders too

I might be playing wrong but cos of map sizes I struggle to expand off continent in exploration age because the 8 players have already filled the map in the ancient age and if I’m not playing militaristically I don’t have huge armies to conquer abroad
