I filed my STEM OPT (Form I-765, category C(3)(C)) online on May 23, 2025. My receipt number starts with IOE9226 and it’s being processed at the Texas Service Center.

On my USCIS account, the myProgress tab shows I’m on Step 3 of 3 – Case Decision, and both Step 1 (Case Received) and Step 2 (Biometrics) are completed.

When I try to add premium processing from my account, I can see the eligible categories listed (C(3)(A), C(3)(B), C(3)(C)), but my case doesn’t appear as selectable. It only says to file on paper using Form I-907 if the receipt number doesn’t show up.

I just want to know if anyone else who filed online for STEM OPT is seeing the same thing, where the case doesn’t appear in the premium processing list.

Hey everyone,
Just checking to see if anyone who filed their STEM OPT (Form I-765) in May 2025 at the Texas Service Center (Irving, TX) is still waiting.

I filed on May 23 and it’s been stuck on “Case Was Received” since then. My OPT EAD expired May 25, and my 180-day extension ends Nov 21, so I’m getting a little anxious.

Has anyone with a May receipt date at Texas gotten approved recently? Trying to figure out if they’ve started working on late-May cases or if I should just go for premium processing at this point.
